Can anyone tell if me if there are any decent zombie games available/coming soon for the Gamecube? Apart from RE of course! I just got one and I need some zombie action!

That's about it on Zombie action on the cube, man. I did the same thing and ran into the same problem. You could try the Hunter games. I know they have Hunter:The Reckoning on the Cube, but I'm not sure about Wayward and Redeemer. Those have zombies in them but not to the level of RE. Now the X Box on the other hand... :x

No! Wait a little longer for the XBox 360 to come out. It comes out at the end of the year and will be backwards compatible with the XBox games. Save the money for that. In the meantime I would just wait for others to respond to this post. They may know more games than I. Plus used Cube games are cheap now.
Happy hunting.

The Hunter games are pretty fun. Especially with a friend.

I went back and played it a couple months ago and got bored with the constant button mashing strategy. It seemed more fun the first time I played it.

Try Time splitters 2 it has zombies in it and Behead the Undead sub game is ace, this game is a must for all zombie fans. The first time splitters on the PS2 is great as well but was never released for the cube. :drinking:

Hmm...Wait a sec.
Backwards compatible, yes.
With all games? Not exactly.

Seems only the majority of the games will be backwards compatible. Leaving out small few games that didnt rack up as much sales in the dust. Try and find out if whatever game you're aiming for is going to work on the xbox 360 before you make any purchases!

form what ive heard , the 360 will be compatible with certian games(mostly top selling ones) not al xbox games..but back to your original question...i think the only decent zombie games on gamecube are the RE series.

Well, on the Cube you also have 'Eternal Darkness' which is a nice wee survival horror packed full of zombie-types.. You should be able to pick it up for very, very little. Try E-Bay if you can't find it in the local game store's bargain bins..
Another very good zombie game I played recently at a mate's house is 'Zombie Revenge' on the Dreamcast. Well worth buying a dreamcast for this game alone, especially as they can be picked up for very little nowadays...

Watch how much you pay for Eternal Darkness. I've never seen a game's price flucuate as much as this ones has. One time I looked at the price and it was $19.99 brand new. A few weeks later it was back up to $44.99! I asked why and the clerk told me it was something about a spike in popularity. I would say anywhere around $20.00 would be good or the currency equivelant of such.
