PS2: Siren - It's genuinly creepy true survival horror. Looking through the eyes of your enemy and listening to them kinda eerie too. I would have said Silent Hill series but those aren't really zombie games because the monsters look more like something made from someone's nightmares. I'm still waiting for Resident Evil 4 for PS2... it's lookin' sweet so far.

PC: Blood - Back when FPS games were fun. Lobbing bundles of dynamite into oncoming zombies never gets old. "Brains... more brains!" "KABOOM!!" then body parts fly all over and you can play soccer with zombie heads. Plus Caleb (your character) was pretty cool.

pc! blooood! i loved that game! i still have it too, havent played it in ages though...multiplayer is so frikin saweet on it! i use to play modem to modem with my buddy across the street...ahhh, memories...i think im gonna load it up for old times sake.

I've just (only a couple of minutes ago) defeated the "T-002 Tyrant" as Jill, and rescued both Barry and Chris! The best zombie game ever is definitely the original Resident Evil 1, no matter on which platform. I played it on my PC (though you need win98 for this old game).
Yesterday night, I encountered 2 zombies in the basement who ate another... I couldn't resist making an animated gif, here is it :):

The funny thing about it is that unless you don't disturb them while eating, they continue to feed without any rest... I did play Resident Evil 1 around 1999 the first time, but somehow didn't finish it. Maybe Nocturne lured me away from RE, but I had to complete the classic zombie game now!

i thought i was going to love RE: outbreak...but it turned out to be utter crap...blood was a great fps back in the day...cant really think of other games that involve zombies and multiplaying...

I'm used to the keyboard, so for me it didn't matter. The last game I played on a console was Doom 2, and this is several years ago. The control scheme is quite good:

cursors: move
V: run / exit
X: draw weapon
SPACE: fire / use
Z: goto inventory

I have to say that I agree with you on all of them except for 3.
X-box, even though I haven't played it would be house of the dead 3
PS2 (I personally like evil dead fist full of boombstick)

HOTD3?! The game in which you cannot move your character on your own, but only to move the crosshair on the screen (I did play the demo for PC)? I'd rather consider it as abysmal and dumb. But Tempest is right, Nocturne is a classy game.

I have Nocturne, okay but nothing great. Zombies Ate My Neighbors was indeed good fun.
