Escape from the living Dead

Found out that the script for Escape from the living dead is the orginal script for return of the living dead.

As many of you know the orginal return of the living dead script was not used in the movie but some of the ideas were taken from it.

I have yet to find the orginal return of the living dead script anyone have a link to it?

This movie was supposed to be made 2 years ago, but I thought I share it.

I like the idea that it was planned as a "loose" sequel to NOTLD.

I have the original book for Return of the Living Dead that Russo wrote. It centered on another outbreak a few years later with total Romero rules instead of the ROTLD ones.

It had a church that nailed their dead through the head before burying them, escaped convicts and bands of criminal teens raising hell, and other goodies. Sounds nothing like the posted storyline.

Actually was a not so bad story.

I think what he means is that it was supposed to be made but something (Hollywood-wise) prevented from happening. Likely curious to see if there is any new word on it's progress.
