'Ghouls' Zombie Indie finally showing.

I heard about this award winning Indie Zombie movie in LA called 'Ghouls'. I frankly do not remember if Iread about here in the movies section or in Fangoria. But the opening attracted bohos from everywhere and it got gritty raves. It was compared to Romero because of it's commentary on society in this case 'papparatzi' and their feeding frenzy. Much to my delight it showed up on my T.V. screen late at night on the IFC channel!!! Well it sucked! It was maybe the most depressing movie I have ever seen. The Zombies were indeed closer to Ghouls but they did do serious feeding on gore. But the hero was awful the point was ? and the movie was really uninspiring. Some good camera shots and some good makeup but award winning? It made me crave hollywood

Ahh your right Emperor. I did not think to look in the 'classic' section. I thought since it came on T.V. for the first time it belonged here in 'new zombie'. At least I know I made a simple mistake where as I f I was a zombie I would never see that! It' good to be among the living.Hmm glad other people agreesd what a pile of poop this was. The one review I read was so appealing that I was upset I missed the L.A. opening. So when I saw it on IFN I was delighted! Forget it! Look to the other thread for this movie. Might as well close this down
