I saw that also on the IMDB, but I wouldn't say exactly it's for kids to watch.

It's not a "family movie" at all, but it is definitely one you should see.

I saw this flick at Funcoland today in the 2 for $10.00 bin. Is it worth my hard earned 5 bucks?

I bought this movie for like 3 bucks at Meijer... It's an OK movie. If you have a zombie collection this should be in it though.

It's absolutely worth that! I can't remember how much my copy was back in the day but I do know that I would easily pay $15 to $20 for it even today.

Only made it through the first 15 minutes. Such a campy piece of work. This was years ago, but I'll have to give it another go!

I really enjoyed this movie, some very funny moments in to.$5 is worth about £3 which is saving 50pence on a rental. And some one considered this film good enough to do a remake which will push the price of the original back up again.

This movie just cracks me up everytime I see it. If anything, it's worth watching for the clothes they are wearing...whoa...did you see the director's striped pants and flyaway collar?

This movie is a classic if nothing more than for the 70's nostalgia. It has a very Drive-In movie feel to it. Whenever I watch it, it makes me long for the days of when I was a kid and the whole family would pile in the car and head to the Drive-In theater.

I bought this film some years ago, and it was so horrible I sold it the day after. The zombies don't appear until the second half of the film. The first half is mostly about these moronic actors fooling around at the graveyard and playin around with a corpse. And the zombie scenes could've been very good if not for the horribly noisy background music.

And I think you are being polite. One would indeed struggle to understand how anyone could enjoy this movie. However, this is a zombie site so one has to understand that some peopel may liek these films!

I thought the zombies rising scene was one of the greatest in history! The off-key crazy horns playing during it only added to it! If I had my way, EVERY zombie movie would have those horn sounds during the zombie scenes.
Maybe it's just 'cause I saw this movie when I was young sitting up late watching TV with my brother that I love it so much, but it's something I can watch pretty much every single day and not tire of it.

I saw this for the first time a couple of months ago and thought it was pretty good. I was a little disapointed the zombies took so long to show up but the film was entertaining enough up til then. I suppose it depends on whether you find Alan Ormsby's character annoying or funny, I thought the latter. Some of the zombie moments were good though - the push on the stairs and of course the first shot of Orville sitting up, right at the end.

Helu - I went through the same problem when deciding to buy it, in the end I went for the 72 minute Anchor Bay release (region 2 only I think) because it had more extras and a commentary from Ormsby, while the longer cut was pretty sparse with extras. I read a comparision and apparantly the cuts are all dialogue, no missing zombie action, but since the link to the shorter cut you put up doesn't list any extras you might as well go for the longer version, plus that version comes with an extra film.

Hi all. Great site.

Thought this would be an appropriate thread for my first post, because this was my first zombie film. ... I was, somehow, allowed to watch this film all by myself when I was 8 years old, and it scared the crap out of me.

Didn't watch it again until I was in my early 30s, and it's still a fun and fascinating flick. (And even a wee bit scary for precious few moments.) ... Great costumes. Great dialogue (in a stupid, schlocky way). The zombie attack and ending come way too quick, but what are you going to do?

The ending scene was always the one that haunted me at age 8. I wondered where they were going next!
