kinda funny, me and Zen actually were talking about this over at stud. i already played the demo and it's a hands down run and gun, nothing fancy (besides the bladed melle and the 'brands', that and riding a demon steed)

I'm coming to this thread fairly late, but what are you gonna do, right?

I bought Darkwatch (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0009VQANQ/thekosubs) a couple of weeks ago and liked it, though it has one serious issue that would make me pause before recommending anyone pay full price: it's short, very short. This wouldn't be that big of a deal if the multiplayer made up for it, but I've found precisely one online game in two weeks. This, quite frankly, blows.

Is it atmospheric? Yes. It is exciting to play while it lasts? Definitely. Is it as good as I'd hoped it would be? Sadly, no.

Are you on PS2 or XBox, because if you're on the box, system linking can be just as fun. (Truth be told, I don't know it Darkwatch can do that.) My roommate and I both have XBox's and we have pulled together 6-man multiplayer matches on Halo 2 over the system link and they pretty well rocked.

I'll probably check this game out eventually, but I'm not a huge fan of the first person perspective.
