This is gonna rule. There really haven't been that many true zombie games lately and definately no classic Zombie moments except for Half-Life 2 in the Scene where you have to barricade in that bunker.

Wow, I haven't been here in a while. But anyway, I've been looking into City of the Dead lately, and I have to tell you that it looks great. That's about all I have to say though.

Ive been looking at CotD for a while now and I'm very interested in it. I was put off at first by seeing it was a first-person survival horror, because I was expecting a 3-rd person ala Resi Evil. But looking at the progress, I'm getting very excited about this game.....just gotta love them zombies :clap:

its good to see the rate of zombie video games (that look great i might add) is higher than ever before. this game looks absoultly fantastic and cant wait for it to be released. the rag doll effects are incredible, the graphics are simple incredible, and the fact that GAR lead the production of it is alone a great reason to buy it. have they released what consol its being released on and when

It's for the pc, xbox and PS2 and i think it's going to be released in spring 2006 :| long wait.

2006!? They should just go ahead and make it for the PS3, Xbox 360, and Pentium 5 with nuclear core CPU platforms if it's going to be that long.

I stop into Funcoland all the time because the guys there are so much more informed than I am. They said that GAR's concept for the game is throw an obscene amount of zombies at the player but make it easier for them to be dispatched. Apparently it's going to put RE4's village encounter and cabin barricade to shame with the amount of enemies at one time. He's also drawing from real-life scenarios such as gas stations and restaurants rather than create an extravagent surreal setting. One things for sure, this game will rock and will more than likely be the last hurrah for XBox and PS2.
