The zombies don't look realistic to me... is this a Indie film?

God i was afraid of this.Even though zombie movies being popular now is good there is a draw back.Now there's gonna be "ghetto-ized" zombie movies comming out.And for no other reason than to try to pull in the hip hop crowd.Dammit i hate hollywood.

It is.

Without boring you with too any details, it's more akin to a 28 Days Later scenario. They are dead, but there's a pathogen in their blood that manipulates them to an animalistic and horrific state just after death

so no rotting flesh, no coming out of the graves.
