Schotten FilmWorks green lights "Sabbath" Shooting will take place through the months of July and August. The crew, I am happy to say, will be the same crew that shot Dead Life.

See what happens when the last soul is let into heaven and first sinner is let out of hell! The dead rise, demons roam the earth and hell spits out a scary creature called "The Screamer"

Advice. Someone has to be killed really fast...not the standard two beat and then you die variety either.

If you kill someone totally unexpectedly and out of the norm...it will add tension for the rest of the movie as we won't be able to guess or prepare ourselves for the next killing.

Hey there folks
Schotten FilmWorks pulled out of the joint venture with In Lieu Of Flowers productions due to strong policy differences between the two companies. We wished them the best of luck in the production of Sabbath.

SFW will be slating another film for the Fall of 2005.

I thought Sabbath had some real potential there... I personally liked the film poster.

Now does does that effect any thing you are currently working on?

Ok things have gotten quite confusing on this project but all is back on track. About three weeks ago we pulled out of this film but now we are back on the project. I wanted to give you all some of the details surrounding this picture.
First is that for the first time we are using an arsenal of REAL fully automatic weapons. Vince Deniro of Exotic Arms has partnered up with us in making Sabbath. Vince has worked with actors like Robert Patrick, Michael Rooker, Tia Carrere ant Tom Savini.

Thanks to the services of Vince, Sabbath will have more variety of real automatic weapons then Terminator 3.
Second, we hired Cleveland FX Co. for all of the gore and make up FX.

Third we brought a lighting pro in to work for us. Ron Jongeling will be working side by side with our camera crew Dave Caleris (DP) and Mike Petrucci (Camera operator)

Sabbath will not have the visceral look that Dead Life sported. We are shooting on the 24p DVX100 and implementing the use of a dolly, camera boom and steady cam.

Photography begins July 16th and wraps Aug 7th

More News coming soon

Two guns for every Zombie? That's the way it should be.

Any chance you'll need extras at any point in the filming? I'd give me a good excuse to visit Ohio (that and to see my family, of course).
