Well, Sith Lords are not much different than everyone else. My favorite beer is Budweiser Select followed by Budweiser. There's a place in Dayton called Trader Joes, they sell food that normally isn't found anywhere else. They have a beer called Frugal Joes Ordinary Beer and Fat Weasel Ale. Those are pretty good. As for liquor, right now I'm drinking Bacardi Select and Absolute Vanilla. I have a bottle of Jack Daniel's Green label that my friend bought for me in North Carolina. Let's get this thread going again. Last night I drank about half of the bottle of Bacardi Select I bought when I first moved into the house a little over a month ago. First started with it on the rocks, then had to move to a little bit of Faygo Cola with it. Watched AVP with it. It's a damn good movie when you watch it for what it is.

I wish we had pubs like you guy's have over there here in the states. I have to drive miles in order to find a decent place to drink that isn't a complete crap hole. We have one "pub" in what they call the Oregon District called the Dublin Pub. That would probably be the closest I have, but of course it's completely Americanized.

But you're right... Belfast is quite limited regarding drinking establishments where:

a) You can relax and have a pint without terrible music corrupting your soul
b) You get a seat
c) The sub-life-forms/ hoods/ spides/ chavs don't gather in their bleating droves

Mind you, I have a delightful wee cafe/ bar just on my very doorstep which (although not entirely happening) manages to cater for my basic drinking needs :drinking: :)

I love beer. I'll drink any beer from 211 to Allgauer Hefeweizen. I drink beer like the rich and classy drink wine, fully tasting it and getting to know its personality. I have a lot of favorites, so I won't get into that list.

Other than that, I like dry drinks, martinis, tonic drinks, stuff like that.

My favorite beer is George Killian's Irish Red followed by Red Stripe and probably Corona.
However, this pub in Memphis called The Flying Saucer, has this Apricot Ale that is soooooooo good. They have over 300 brews from all over the world. For like $10 you get a membership card and everytime you try one, it goes on your record. When you try 150 different, they hang a saucer on the wall with your name on it and give you a t-shirt. I'm currently at 133, but I'd already be there if I didn't live 2 hours away.

Whatever the bar is serving...they all do the same thing. If I'm making it at home though I like Carlsberg lager and Strongbow cider with any kind of dilutey blackcurrant juice.

Pour about an inch of blackcurrent juice into a pint glass then add half a pint of lager and half a pint of cider to it and it should be ready to drink in all it's sexual glory!! The head on it will even be purple like the drink!! :lol: :drinking:

Now that someone said Snakebite...I had a friend who used to drink the hell out of those things, but not being a big cider fan I couldn't get into them.

When I was a kid I got tricked into drinking some apple cider vinegar and it made me barf. Every time I smell apple cider that feeling comes back crystal clear. Kinda like how Wild Turkey does.

I'll try this, though, cause I have a feeling the juice will help kill the nasty cider taste.
