Apparently, when he was alive, many people found that he loved mushrooms, a habit picked up from a mentor/friend, who was a connasuire of fungi. So last night I decided to clean out the liquor cabinet as one would clean out the refrigerator. After having a Great Lakes Burning River Ale, I moved on to killing the bottle of Smirnof 100 proof. I was able to squeeze enough out of it to concoct two screwdrivers. After that, I killed my bottle of Jack by making two and a half Jack and Cokes. After that, I killed my bottle of Bacardi Select by making just one Rum and Coke. And as if those mixtures weren't enough...I mixed jager and coke. So now I have three empty bottles in my trashcan, which I'm sure will make the neighbors think I'm an alcoholic. The best part about it is, rather than feeling rather groggy, I'm doing quite fine this morning! :)

Oh, I've been known to go a bit bonkers on the stuff... but when I go online to ATZ after drinking, I feel really aware of myself and tend to behave :)

I use quotation marks around the word because I don't really believe that this vile synthetic concoction has ever been within fifty feet of anything as pure and natural as a simple, innocent apple. It might be the staple drink of car park-loitering underage teenage boozers and shit-caked schitzophrenic vagrants, but if you're ever looking to get stewed on a budget then you could do a hell of a lot worse than give this bad boy a go - a preposterously large four-litre bottle costs just £2.25 (TWO TWENTY FIVE!!!) at a nearby shop and is guaranteed to have the most hardened, leather-livered drinker lying in the bathtub singing Queen songs by the time they reach the bottom. Okay, so it looks like an alcoholic's urine, smells like a chemical toilet, tastes like paint thinner, triggers depressive and psychotic episodes, and makes you feel like you've been poisoned the following morning (because, technically, you have) but... Last night my poison was mainly gin. I started out sitting on the river bank with my best mate, eating limes and drinking gin and listening to music and yelling at some dude who was camping on the other side of the river. Then my night went downhill... went to a mate's place, drank more, went to a local pub, drank more... fell on my ass and got asked to leave. The bouncers didn't want me to leave, though. They were all like "aww that sucks, you're awesome"

Tonight I've maintained a strict diet of rum and beer. I wish I had some red wine, but I am at a loss. The room is spinning. So enjoyable. I feel like I'm in the end of that Pi film.
