Besides looking for short zombie genre films on the net, I've got interested in the artwork of the 'Walking Dead" comic series, but I can't find any large images of the covers. I'd like to see all the released covers so far, if anyone has them or a link they can give me, I'd owe you one. Thanks.

You could also download some of the CBR files (scans of the comic’s pages) off of emule, rename the file with a .rar extension and extract out the page images that you want. As long as you own the comic I see little morally wrong with that, but copyright legality would still be an issue.

what I had planned on doing, is making a fan cover, based on each of the orginal covers. I was thinking about taking real images by my canon cam, spice them up on paint shop pro and etc. and call them fan covers. I think it would be pretty cool to at least try. They look fairly easy to fix up. Just something to do in spare time of course.

I contacted Tony Moore about requesting a commission, or buying some of his original Walking Dead art.
He asked me to contact Kara Fairfield (xgrrlx@gmail.com) to discuss what was available.
You can buy original covers and pages, or 11"x17" color prints of the covers.
She asked me to send her a list of what pages I'd like, then she would email me a price list.
"Original art pages range from $100- $250 with the exception of issue 4 page 12 the tank in the city
which is $800. Covers range from about $500-$600 depending on content."
The color prints of the covers are $10 each, plus shipping.
I urge you to contact her to buy quality prints, or even originals.

for that price, I can't exactly afford it, I'll stick with looking at the scans on the pc...and continue drooling. But after checking out all those covers, the one with the woman leading the two armless zombies by chains, what is that issue about?

Fallen-Angel:
i'm glad to see someone has already helped you find the covers on my website. i'm missing my files of some of the earlier ones which i need to salvage off my old hard drive.
i'd love to see these photo-fan-covers you're talking about making. sounds like a really fun idea.
Awfulman:
thanks for the plug, man. If anyone is interested, contact artsales@tonymooreillustration.com and have a list of pages you might have an eye on. a lot have already been sold, but i still have many available, more than i've had time to make an organized sales list for, at least.
Warior13:
i price the stuff i'm particularly attached to a bit higher. If someone is willing to pay my asking price for those, then they obviously want it more than i do, but it takes a bit to loosen my grip on some of my favorite pages. the average interior pages are actually a pretty decent price, though a lot of the good zombie pages got snagged pretty quickly at the conventions.

I am pleased to know I have your approval for the fan covers. I'd like to get in touch with you after I make them, maybe get you to autograph them for me. :P I'm already amazed to know you've replied in my post. I never considered talking to a well-known artist before, but you are from kentucky? I live in leslie co. ky, 2 1/2 hours away from lexington, I'm filming part of my zombie genre film there.

thanks for the plug, man.
No prob!
I've got a really sweet page of Deadworld comic art on my wall, and need to knock it down a few pegs with one of yours. But Christmas just passed and there's no feasable way my wife will permit me to buy one until February. (fingers crossed)

I can understand about being attatched to them, that makes more sense now. It is some really good art. I just wouldn't spend that much on someone elses picture when I draw my own.
