I've never read Reign Of The Dead, but it sure was mentioned alot in the Letter Hacks (fan mail to TWD). As was the DeadWorld series; you are aware that Image is restarting DeadWorld in March, right? (cramming it down your throat)
I thought issue 14 was great!
But those damned things Kirkman always says in the Letter Hacks really get to me... he mentioned the coming WAR, that no character is guaranteed life in this series, and that main characters will die.
My stomache is twisting (not from maggots, either)
An author wrote in demanding Kirkman to explain how the Zombie Apocolypse came about; what made the dead reanimate. Wouldn't that be terrible if he did? What do the rest of you think?

That would suck. I don't care how the zombies came about, it's the aftermath that's cool. When you try to explain the cause it kind of takes away from the mystery of the story (an issue I have with Toetags). I'd love to see a movie or comic that shows the initial rise of the dead (without explaining why) and how they overrun society instead of starting off in the aftermath of the zombie outbreak like most stories do.
