Yeah, sounds interesting. They should probably drop the "Day of the Living Dead" though and just stick with "Curse of the Maya".

I agree they should stick to the original title Curse of the Maya. The stills look pretty cool.

Is it set in the Romero universe?

Nice catch on this one. I hadn't heard of it before.
Hmmm. I hope no one asks Todd Bridges what he is talking about during the film. This might be his best role since his conviction tapes. OK. I'll stop now.
On a serious note, the trailer was nothing spectacular. It looks like it might be OK. I'll probably pick up a copy when it gets released.
One last thing: Aargh! Zombie ****ing babies! Haven't we learned our lesson yet?

Todd Bridges is in it, can't be too awful.
(still determining if that's a joke or not)

Doesn't look too bad, but how long can zombies terrorize a household before there isn't a household left to terrorize?

If it was a castle, or a fort, it could take a few extra hours.

Not bad seems a bit comedic, the coloring of the picture needs work.
Plus were are the mayans? I bet no one in that movie is mayan.

There is a family of 5 mayans who are murdered and not given proper burial rights and they come back.So yes there is mayans and a good story line, just not enough zombies.

Where did they shoot the movie in Mexico? I doubt it, mayan's are very poor and really dont like outsiders on there land, how do I know?
Cause I am part mayan myself
Anyways the baby that jumped from tha guys arms to bit him in the neck was harilious, but in any case I might just rent it.

C-List actors? Check! Special effects that looked good three years ago when filming began? Check! A kick-ass story line that devolves into the typical B-film zombie movie? Check! I can't wait for this one to come out! I might watch it between Crocodile XIII and Curse of Tarantula (The third prequal of course.) I guess it might be good. I can't help but to think back to when Twister came out and Fox put out that piece of garbage called Night of the Twisters.

Don't sound so cynical.... I am sure it will stand out.... among the B movies

Not that I intended to come across that way...I just think that it won't amount to much. I will, however, give it the ol' college try.

Just another fool who thinks he can make a good zombie movie. Just like horror, people need to realize its the hardest medium to do well.

colorful, but not the point. There are very few good zombie movies...why is that?

I don't know. If you think about it, there's really not a whole lot you can do with zombies. There are alot of great and original ideas out there that should be done and we'll probably see them come to life years from now during the next zombie resurgence but I'm not counting on it this time around.

I have a great idea! How about a reality show that involves zombies trying to get along with the living? I'm sure Fox will buy it! It could star Bub and the hot female zombie from ROTLD 3...I am so retarded. :x
