for all those aussie (like me) that are disgusted by th censorship of left for dead 2. for those who want it uncensored then good write so here if we get enough people maybe just maybe we will finally get a R-18+ rating for games then a gory left 4 dead 2
(there are also groups like this working together on rooster teeth and other sites and i run a group so join it if you have a profile on that site )

I hear you mate. We need the R 18+ rating here now! If we can't get a gory zombie shooter game, how can we possibly prepare for a zombie apocalypse? Are we to assume that zombies will have no blood and brains? The people of Australia need training to cope with the blood and guts of zombies and Left the Dead 2 is the best way. :guns:

The gore is one of the best qualities of L4D2, and removing that pretty much removes a great amount of the overall fun! If the weapons include a chainsaw, a katana, and a fire axe, the gore should be pretty implied.

They didn't completely remove all the blood and gore, and it doesn't change the gameplay, so there isn't really a problem.

i think the problem is that the knobheads who do the ratings for games don't realise that games are not played only by kids. i am 37 and i still play computer games and i resent someone censoring what i play much like when someone tells me what i can and can't see in a movie. i'll decide for myself thanks. its ridiculous to limit something that could generate so much money for the gaming industry in australia because some stuffy old fart in an office knows nothing about gaming. maybe they should release two versions, like they sometimes do with movies, and let parents decide what they want to buy for their kids and adults decide what they want for themselves. it shits me off to high heaven.
