Anybody ever read any Gary Brandner (The Brain Eaters, Carrion)?

Hello everyone,

Vince Churchill pointed out a zombie book to me called Carrion (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0595143873/permutedpress-20) by Gary Brandner (who wrote The Howling). After a little research I also discovered another 28-Days-Later-like book by him called The Brain Eaters (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0449127117/permutedpress-20). Anyone ever read either of these?

In a strange turn of events I found both Carrion and The Brain Eaters at a used book store today! I also found Legion of the Dead by Geoffrey Caine. It was a zombie book score! :)
