I really liked DBDA. It's one of my top favorites. I'm pretty picky myself too when it comes to zombie novels. I have really high expectations and demand so much from the authors. I generally end up disappointed, but keep reading them anyways. I find more "ok's" then I find great books.
As far as Autumn goes, it's a great book if that's your style. If you want a very classy, elegant, mental thriller then that's your book.
As far as finding the Autumn series, good luck. There was a few of us awhile back that spent a lot of time and money trying to get all those books. I ended up spending an outrageous amount on each book. If you just hang tight, Moody is suppose to be re-releasing them sometime soon.
But who knows, it's been awhile since I have looked at prices for Autumn. People might have come down on their prices now.
If you like more fast paced, you should read Moody's book Hater. That's a great read. I was all over that one.

How am I being picky? I said i really liked DBDA. It's on my top 5 list. I also really liked autumn. I was just stating it's not for everyone.
Yea I'm picky, but it's because I'm searching for special books. They're just hard to find. I generally like all zed books I read. They just tend to not be what I'm searching for in zed novels. I'm on a quest for a very special zed book. I hope it exists.

I've just finished reading the last of the Autumn books (in ebook format) and pride and prejudice and zombies, The Autumn series was fantastic and would recommend them to anyone, zombie fan or not, shame about the film tho :-(
I've not read Day by Day Armageddon yet but I've just started Hater and enjoying that so far.
