Revenant Magazine is looking for the best in undead fiction and non-fiction. We pay 1/4 a cent per word for all articles and stories 7,500 words or shorter upon publication. At this time, no works accepted for the website will be compensated with payment.

Allow two weeks return time. Please do not inquire about the state of your submission before this.

In addition, it is advisable that all querying writers familiarize themselves with Revenant magazine before submitting to get a feel for the "Revenant Magazine-style.”

We have some guidelines we require you to read before you submit to us. If you do not comply with our requests your article will not be accepted.

1 )We are looking for articles and stories of less than 7,500 words for the most part. While we may accept a longer story please contact us before sending as there is a different procedure in this case.

2) Revenant is a horror magazine about the undead and zombies first and foremost. Articles and stories that do not deal with this topic will be rejected.

3) Violence, gore, and sexuality can be important in the telling of any story and while we have no objection to the use of any of these, it is important to realize that an excess of attention paid to blood, guts, and sex can frequently transform an "okay" story into a bad story. It is our policy to accept only the best written works we find so please be sure that anything of this nature serves the story.

4) Use a standard manuscript format when submitting.

5) We do not accept multiple submissions from any one writer.

6) We will accept reprints from certain markets. Please be up front with us about these.

7) These rules are subject to change.

Submissions can be sent to submissions@revenantmagazine.com We are currently only accepting electronic submissions. Please attach your manuscript to your email and include a cover letter (though no summary is necessary).

Thank you for your interest in Revenant Magazine and we look forward to your submissions!'
