Anyone seen it? I am tempted to pick it up at the local Blockbuster but damn it looks bad. The tag line mentions Night, Day, and Dawn though.

Don't do it, man. DeadKev will be putting up an informative review sometime soon. Hold off until then, at least. You won't regret it. Eeeek.

Not good, not good.

Debbie, Linnea, and Brinke are great actresses, but even they couldn't overcome this one!

I saw this video at a Blockbuster today (Blockbuster EGH! :puke: )
I don't know if their has been any posts about this film but it looked sort of sketchy, just wondering if it's a rent or a must rent or add to my collection.

Also Death Valley: The Revenge of Bloody Bill based on a true charachter for the 1800's. Just wondering if anyone has seen these yet? and if they can give some feedback...

Well now wait a minute Sgt. We were talking about a few movies. The one Movie was the sequal to House of 1000 Corpses (The Devils Rejects). That still looks good. The one we are talking is Corpses are forever. :puke: Terrible film.

They both completely sucked. Bloody Bill had some good zombies but the acting really brought it down, and CAF was SOOO dumb.

Horrible, stupid, wretched...I could go on. Corpses Are Forever has got to be the worst movie made since Cat Woman. At first it looked pretty good. The black and white looked good. The camera work looked independantly professional, and the British accent gave it a sophisticated feel. Then it turned color, WTF? The best worst part was when he was delivering spinning kicks to the zombies and you could see him miss them by a foot and they still fell over. the soldiers were pretty humerous too when they had their introductions. "Hey! Lets all file in one-at-a-time to an area full of zombies instead of as a squad using tactics!" WTF? Jungle camo in an urban setting? Sure, why not? I know that not everyone knows much about the military, but if they would read a book or at least watch the history channel they could all learn a little more about how an army unit would look and operate. I'm glad I was drinking during that movie and passed out before the ending. I could go on but it would make this posting way too long.

corpses are forever has terrible acting and the lead actor (who is also the director) was somehow trying to make his movie as cool as momento however had failed. The woman that played the doctor in the movie was also in vampires vs. zombies and the mark of the astro zombies (also two horrible movies). But the movie was somehow still enjoyable and I've actually watched it twice for a good laugh.

I don't know about some of you but the scene in Bloody Bill in which the black guy is holed up in the room trying to convince himself this is his last chance to be good was classic. Instead of deciding to "change his life around" he basically says "**** it" and buries his face in a copious amount of cocaine and goes on a zombie beating rampage. I laughed my ass off.

they both aren't that great but Bloody Bill is ok at times and watchable on some level. I actually watched the whole thing and didn't moan once.

Corpses are forever...This is one of the largest pieces of shit on our planet. I don't think anyone likes this movie. Except for maybe the fake reviews that we all fall victim to. DOOOOOOOOOOON't Waste your money.

I'm new here, and I was wondering if anyone knew about this death curse on the direct-to-video movie CORPSES ARE FOREVER?

I came across this site:

It's a zombie movie so i thought you guys would know about it? Is the death curse real? Check out the sight, it's wild. LOL

These are without a doubt the WORST zombie films i have ever seen.Is it just me or does Asylum seem hell bent on destroying the zombie sub genre? This is why zombie movies never get a big budget.Damn no talent amatuers who couldn't write a good story to save their damn lives.I really hope Asylum goes bankrupt real soon.

 The Asylum aren't hell bent on destroying anything and the reason why zombie films never get big budgets is because not enough fans hit the theaters to watch the ones that do get big budgets. Corpses Are Forever and Death Valley may not be the best films but I'd have to say that The Asylum are trying and have actually turned out some fun b-horror fare as of late. Wishing they go out of business might be your opinion but imo it's just infantile. All horror, even bad horror, helps propel the horror industry forward and if it weren't for companies like The Asylum, some of horror future stars may never see the light of day. You can hate on the product but don't hate the passion. They've improved considerably in the last year.

I actually found Death Valley a fun watch and can't wait to see Death Valley 2. Instead of allowing a few duds to turn me off I decided to give them a chance. They're doing so much better. Their recent upcoming release "Frankenstein Reborn" is heads and tails better than what they've previously done.

They've improved?Sorry i haven't seen it.The fact that they keep making movies and keep failing miserably only further proves my point. How did guys like George Romero and Tobie Hooper become legends in the genre?Talent which no one at Asylum has.And sorry Blind companies like them only hurt horror by putting out these god awful movies.

So, because The Asylum create movies that you feel fail miserably they should just give up making movies? If it were up to people with your kind of negative attitude gentlemen like William Castle, Roger Corman & Charles Band would never have stuck around. It's unfair (and silly) to compare accomplished writer/directors like Romero and TOBE Hooper who started making films in the 60's to a company that started in 1997 making b-movies for other companies. It doesn't make sense. That's like comparing Polanski with Lloyd Kaufman.

B-movie companies are what keep horror going when a-list horror isn't giving the fans what they want. It's companies like Troma, The Asylum, Full Moon and Dark Castle that fill horror fans shelves when the plastic fantastic horror just isn't delivering.

What proof do you have that godawful b-horror (especially from The Asylum) has hurt horror?

Good point there BD, Roger Corman did make some :poo: , but he kept at it and eventually made some of my favorite horror films. Everyone can't start out with a huge budget blockbuster, therefore they need a starting ground. Dreamworks wouldn't give you or I a hundred million to make a movie, but The Asylum or Screen Media might give you $50,000. If you're an aspiring filmmaker, what would you do? Turn down 50 grand and an opportunity to get your name out there?

BTW BD, turn your messenger on.

I have to say, that while i thought Corpse Are Forever was a terrible waste of my time, Its at least a good thing that these little companys are giving people a chance. Although some of these people are hacks. Damnit, Why Is Uwe Boll getting all this money, and working for big studio's instead of working for Asylum?

The Blind Dead
08-23-2005, 01:49 AM
I think a lot of people overlook The Asylum's involvement in Stuart Gordon's King of the Ants, which was a fantastic film. Too much negativity towards these companies is weak. If you don't like the company or their flicks, say so and move on like an adult. Wishing them ruin is just childish.

I saw Corpses are Forever last night and it was far from what I was hoping for.Linnea Quigley,Brinke Stevens,Debbie Rochon and Felissa Rose were what got me to pick up the movie and after seeing it,I feel sorry for them being in it.When I watch a zombie movie I want the zombies to be center stage and not in the background as part of a secret agent movie. When we finally do get to see some zombie action, the movie ends.I don't know what the director was thinking of but this ranks right up there with Day of the Dead 2:Contagium.
