Okey dokey then. I searched the forums to see if anyone has seen this movie and came up blank.

Has anyone seen this movie? Its about a 12 year old boy named Oskar who meets a 12 year old vampire girl named Eli. Its a pretty sick and twisted yet sorta heart wrenching story. I just found a copy of it at B&N, and figured it was worth mentioning and giving props. :drinking:

It was well made, and good but also boring and brought nothing new to the sub-genre. I really do not see what all the fuse has been over this movie on other sites. It's nothing special.

Hey, everyone is free to there opinion, unless your a communist or something. I personally liked the pace of things in the movie, the dialogue was a little robotic, but I figured that was just the best they could translate the German into English.

Ya got to admit, those kids were pretty creepy. "Squeal like a pig, SQUEAL!"

I have seen it, own it and love it. I hear there was a mix up with the subtitles, but I just watched the movie dubbed, so that didn't bother me. I honestly thought it was one of the more original movies in YEARS and fits well in the ranks of vampire movies.
