Well I know of 3 horror films that have to be based on April Fools Day:
April Fools Day - cool 1986 slasher film with a great cast in it with the likes of Amy Steel(from Friday the 13th part 2), Deborah Foreman(from Waxwork), Griffin O'Neal(from The Wraith), Thomas F. Wilson( from Back the the Future films), Clayton Rohner(from I.Madman), etc......The film isn't gory at all but the last 20 minutes of the film was great.
April Fools Day - 2008 remake which I never saw.
Slaughter High - 1986 film that was gonna be called April Fools Day but that film was already signed for as in the first film on here from 1986 so they changed the name to Slaughter High. I have this one on vhs and it will finally be out on dvd this month. This is a cool beer drinking slasher film to watch with Caroline Munro in it and the rest of the cast is so cheesy that it makes it a fun film to watch and it has some good kills in it too. The killer Marty wears a jester's mask and uses different weapons to kill. The actor who played Marty was named Simon Succadamore and he committed suicide soon after the filming was done on the picture.
