View Full Version : Best Halloween sequel?
Of course the sequel Halloween 2 is the best to me with Myers stalking Laurie in the hospital.
What is yours?

I probably would go with 2, but I did enjoy 4 and H20 as well.

I would have to agree, Halloween II is the best, closely followed by IV.
I did enjoy H2O & Resurrection, but I couldn't help but feel I was watching a Scream sequel. Probably because of Dimension's involvement?

I like Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, i actually saw it before Halloween[probably an age thing] which probably didn't matter cause it doesn't have anything to do with Michael.

Halloween II(1981), Halloween III: Season of the Witch(1982) and Halloween 4: The Return of Micheal Myers(1988) are all classics in my book!

I think Halloween III: Season of the Witch is extremely underrated. I just watched it for the 2nd time ever & it's been more than 20 years since i first saw it. Great story & you gotta love when the guys head get ripped off.

I actually haven't seen part 2 yet, so for the moment I'll pick Resurrection. It was a fun dumb horror movie that kept me entertained.

I've seen them all except resurrection. I loved H20 with Jamie Lee Curtis/Josh Hartnett.
But, I liked #2. Its one of the reasons why I will not go to a hospital at night.

I really like them all alot, one of my favorite franchises, but if I had to pick a favorite it would come down to 4 or 6, I really liked 6 for some reason though it seems everyone else hates it.
but out of them 2 I guess id pick 4, it has one of my favorite quotes in it, when all the good old boys are out in their pickup trucks hunting for Michael and one guy thinks he saw him his buddy opens fire and they go over to the bush and the guy says "shit earl, you shot ted hollister" always cracks me up.

check it out youngin. I like the 2nd the best. direct continuaton kicks ass. I should give WITCH another chance..havent seen it for awhile. H20 is just trash though....on par with the likes of jason x, good kills but poor movie.

As I wrote elsewhere, I prefer the John Carpenter original to the Rob ZOmbie remake. However, I would love to see Rob Zombie remake Season of the Witch. With the progression of technology since Halloween III was originally released and Rob Zombie's own vision/artistic bent, how cool would the masks be.

HALLOWEEN 4:THE RETURN OF MICHEAL MYERS is probably my favorite, and best of the Halloween sequels. From the opening credits with the farm(which sadly doesn't show up in the rest of the flick:-|) with all the neat-o homemade Halloween decorations, and Alan Howarth's excellent score adds to the All Hallow's Eve mood. H4 introduces some fan favorite characters to the franchise, Jamie Loyd,Rachel Currothers, Sheriff Ben Meeker, and Kelly Meeker, and her shame to be hidden two friends. Great flick. I usually end my annual Halloween horror marathons with this excellent gem.

My favorite is Halloween 2. I love the ending. I can't stand the 4th one.

RZ's Halloween 2 is best if you get the unrated director's cut cause it has some added footage to it and 2 alternate endings too.
