I actually admit that I liked this remake of House of Wax from 2005 starring Elisha Cuthbert. The film was well done and had some good kills in it.



****ATTENTION SPOILERS****





I liked the idea that the film ahd 2 killers in it which were twins and one had to wear a mask cause his face was disfigured from the separation surgery.

The best part of the film was that skanky Paris Hilton got the best death scene in it with the killer shoving a metal prod spear through her head lol. I think everyone in the theater clapped when that happened lol.

F**king awesome, love it. I actually saw this before the original which i also like. I also saw a take on this by Dario Argento years ago.:drinking:

I saw the original with Vincent Price in it on 3D at the Fox theater as a kid with my parents. The film was a old one but they had it on 3D for some reason one time in the late 70's so we went to see it.

Quality, that would have been cool as a kid.:) I have that on dvd but not 3D.:drinking:

I also really liked the remake of House of Wax. All the death scenes looked cool, it had a lot of good gore, and I thought the acting was pretty good overall (even Paris was decent). I just wonder how a house made entirely of wax could stay upright in Louisiana.

It was set in louisiana. The kids were driving to New Orleans to see a football game.

I also hate Paris Hilton, but I thought her acting wasn't that bad in House of Wax.

I like this one.. alot actually. Biggest problem to me is that it has a few stereotypical (spelling?) kills like the tendon and stuff. Otherwise it's a good slasher.

oh and hilton:puke:good when she was killed though. Acting was good for the part..... dumb girl
