See it here (http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1810029193/video/12431635).
Watch and judge accordingly.

There's nothing wrong that. For whatever reason she just does it for me. It's a strange obsession I have.

I'm not impressed. All this hype about "Sam Rami's Return to Horror" and we get this?
Sorry, looks dull to me. I'll wait for DVD.

I think that it looks okay.
I've been seeing the trailer on TV over the last week.
What really has my interest is the remake of The Evil Dead.
Raimi is producer, writer, and director of that remake.
The Evil Dead (2010)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0434020/
AND, Raimi also has Evil Dead 4 in development!
Evil Dead IV (2011)

I just hope that Bruce Campbell is in them...

Just got the DVD, watched about an hour of it and then my baby started screaming so I tended to him. I should watch it this weekend. I really enjoyed what I saw. Pretty intense.

I saw this at my college's weekly movie night for free, and I can honestly say that this was the worst movie I have ever seen! I don't even want to say anymore in fear or breaking my laptop in a homicidal rage!:x:x

I'm glad Raimi returned to a least a semblance of his Evil Dead roots. I have this ticked off in my Netflix Queue-see what happens.

Finally watched it, mixed reaction. It had its moments, but not enough to put it in the Evil Dead 2 or Army of Darkness category.

saw it few days ago. i really liked the last 20 min or so when she started doing some ash type things but the twist was so predictable.... i dont get why sam had so much cg....it looked so bad. oh well the guy got lazy...he shouldnt expect horror fans to accecpt this cause we love his evil deads...and no bruce cameo wtf? how cheesy this was you would have thought he could have played somerthing.....the **** bank worker....the diner server. whatever bring on another kiddie spiderman...leave ED4 alone if your gona dumb it down for the crowds. rant over

I defend every word I said about this movie. The special effects were crap, there weren't ANY scary parts, it had way too many scenes that tried to gross me out that were just unnecessary (the dentures, the corpse spewing whatever it was out of it's mouth, etc), and it was so unhumanly stupid that I thought it was a comedy! Like when the blonde was collecting things for money, and she gets rid of a curse vision...dream...hallucenation....whatever by dropping an anvil on it! Who the **** has an anvil in their house?!?
I admire Sam Raimi for the Evil Dead and Spiderman films, but this and the Grudge are really making me lose my respect in him.

Drag Me to Hell was very much a Raimi movie. You either love him or hate him.

Watched it on dvd last night & i liked it but i thought it came across better on the big screen, the frights worked better cause of the volume in the cinema.
Interesting mixed reviews and I just finished watching the dvd. Maybe some should try lowering there expectations; 'cause, overall, I thought it was a good(much better than your average horror flick) movie that had a couple of very good moments. The scene in the parking garage was absolutely priceless and how about animal attack. A couple of scenes were pretty funny, even though I can't remember what they were. Worth watching!
Oh yeah, imagine trying to eat steak and spaghetti while watching the scene in the bank where the gypsey woman introduces herself.
I was about to start a thread on this but I did a search for it while I am still sober lol.
I watched it once and liked the first half of the film but then it became boring for at least 15 minutes and then the ending was okay.
I like Sam Raimi but it just seems that his films are great at times and then quite disappointing or boring too. I loved Spider Man and part 2 but Part 3 was a big let down.
I hope that with Evil Dead 4 he will go back to the basics like the first one was so great.
As for Drag me to Hell it was okay and the CGI was well done but not a great film imho. I would give it a 6 out of 10 rating.

I thought the same. In the cinema i absolutely loved it, my favorite horror film i've ever seen in the cinema, it had scares, tension, interesting storys and black comedy. Up until nearly the end where it got a bit too cliche'd i loved every moment of it. It even started quickly and effectively which seems rare in films these days.
However on dvd, like most horror films, it had completely lost it's edge. I'm starting to think there is just no point in getting horror films on dvd anymore.
