OK, I hate them all, except that the Wolfman intrigues me, because I like the monster, I love the original, and Benicio Del Toro is mucho cool. And, that’s how they get you hooked.
I feel so ashamed.

This is good and bad. Many of the movies listed don't need remakes. :eat: Can't stop progress....:x

I'm suprised by the number of movies being remade, but almost none of them are that much of a shock for me (except The Invasion of the Body Snatchers, since I know they already did a remake of that very recently starring Nicole Kidman) (by the way, I liked that movie). There are a few titles I'm worried about seeing again (especially Scream. WTF?), but overall I don't care that much. And I KNOW I'll be seeing the Host when it comes out!

Overall, i'm a little sad.....but even if they screw up the remakes, the originals will still be around to enjoy (well, the ones i enjoy anyway).

That is a lot of re-makes, i am not ecstatic about them all but there are some that might be cool. It's not surprising cause we live in a time of re-make, how many times have you heard you're favorite song butchered by some lame boy band, people just don't have their own ideas.:x

They Live, Creature From The Black Lagoon and Ghostbusters are classics and do not need to be remade!!! :x I know I overlooked some other classics, but these titles jumped out at me! When are people going to get new ideas and leave the classics alone?

GhostBusters is actually a 3rd sequel isn't it?

i agree, they dont need remakes. actually, i think remakes are just stupid unless absolutely necessary.
FOR EXAMPLE: i think the resident evil movie series needs a serious remake. but the classics, leave em alone.
I don't mind remakes at all so I wouldn't mind seeing some of these being remade and made into better films like for instance:
The Birds
The Crazies
People under the Stairs
Motel Hell
etc....

The Birds would be a nice movie to remake, I must agree. :]

I like remakes and remixes. I like when an artist redoes a classic their way.
It doesn't ruin anything. The originals remain for you purists.
In the question of what is truer, the original or newer, I typically favor what is current.
