I have a couple misfits cd's. I am no hardcore fan or anything just a casual listener.
Yes, I am a big fan of the Misfits and also have Michael Graves solo cd called Illusions which is great btw. I like Danzig too as the original lead singer but I think that Graves has a better voice. Jerry Only is an idiot imho and argues with everyone.
You need to check out George Romero's film called Bruiser cause the Misfits play in it in a rage club scene towards the end of the film.

I'm so glad some one likes Graves over Danzig.

I've seen MISITS live twice, now. Only in recent years, mind, well after Danzig left the fold...

I kinda got to know about the Misfits from Metallica who covered Last Caress & Green Hell. I have Earth AD on vinyl. You can definately here the influence they had on bands like Metallica & Slayer.

I'm more a fan of Danzig-era Misfits, myself. But, yes, definitely a fan!
How about psychobilly? The Cramps, anyone?

RIP Lux Interior. greatest. front. man. ever.
as for the Misfits, yes. have all of the original stuff on vinyl. saw em play with beastie boys and Necros waaaay back in the day. The michael graves stuff kind of grew on me. of particular favorite is Hunting Humans. lol. Danzigs stuff is good although not all of the albums, Samhain - hell yeah! Other than that, most of it all sounds the same.

I wouldn't call myself a "big" fan of the Misfits, but I do love a lot of their songs.
