I know some people have posted pictures of their pets in the "Obligatory Post a Picture of yourself" thread but Here are some of my animals. I'd like to see anyone else who has Pets... I did a search for existing threads and nothing came up besides, "Would you keep a pet in a ZPAW?" but if there is an exisiting thread, if the Admins want to merge it that would be fine. :-)

First Up is Abbey the obnoxious, fat black lab mix :roll::

Finally here is Skeeter, the Ancient cat. And yes, we named her before the cartoon "Doug" came out :lol::

Well my dog is dead lol. I had my dog "Taffy" which was a miniature Collie from 1981 til 1996 and she died of old age then and was 15 years old which is old for a dog lol and I'm an only child and she was like a sister to me sorta lol but I loved that dog and miss her.

My parents bought a $400 monument for her and put it in her pin outside near the pool. It even has her picture on there.

I really do need to get another dog soon for my house. I will most likely get one when it warms up in the spring. I have a huge fenced in back yard here so I wanna get another collie or perhaps a golden retriever.

Sorry for your loss RIP. Collie's are nice dogs, can't go wrong with Lassie :)

LOL, she was a miniature lassie lol and she use to tear up some squirrels and birds in my parents backyard back then. She was an outside dog but we let her in the house alot then and she was spoiled rotten.

I ahve my own house now and do need a pet soon. I thought about buying a big huge aquarium and having alot of fish in it but I thought....screw that and I'm allergic to cats but not poontang lol.:lol:

Haha, Ive never been a big fan of fish. My old roommate was a wicked D-bag and had this huge Fire Mouth Cichlid in a 20 gallon tupperware container. he never changed the water and it was like wicked cold water, which this Cichlid was from Africa and preferred warm water. Luckily he gave it to someone who knew how to take care of fish before it died and now it's doing good in a real tank. To me, it just looked like a really big Sunfish. Ive always been a fan of the more exotic and dangerous looking fish, like Sharks.

Funny story: My mom said she was going to the petstore to get Dolphins, and me being like 5 I was like... awesome we're getting dolphins like flipper, I didn't think about where we'd keep them. But she came home with these ugly little fish, Needless to say I was disappointed :lol:

Yeah, Ive heard those salt water tanks do get expensive, Im assuming salt water and mechanical parts don't go together very well, so it would probably be costly to upkeep or else the corrosion resistant pumps/filters and such, would be expensive from the onset.

I think I need a pet Kowala bear like the ones in Australia cause those little things barely move and and don't make any noise lol.:lol::drinking:

And they just sit there and look at you like your a dumbass lol.

I think they have some pretty nasty claws lol. Or you could get a Sloth... but theyre freaky looking :scare:

It's been a few month since we lost our cat of 9 years & we really miss having a one about so we thought it was time to get a new one. Meet Chewy, he is 7 weeks old so we don't have him home yet but will in about a week.

Kinda yeah, my wife & son are Star Wars fans but i recently let my son watch Critters & he picked up on the name of the cat from that.:) Our last cat Puss was more my cat cause he always came to me so we want this one to be more for the kids.:)

LOL!!! Actually it's the dangers of working at an animal hospital--I acquired 4 of the cats from there--I'm a sucker for a cute fuzzy face. 3 of the cats were dumped off by the local animal shelter for euthanasia--they were very little (1 was little more than a day old, 1 was about a week old, and the last one about 3 weeks old). How could I say "no"? :lol:

Krucial, they are some seriously cool pets you got there. Could you do an edit and include the name of the species of each one? Is that first pic one of those cave spiders which aren't actually spiders?

I truly am freaked out by spiders, but I do think they are fascinating. I use to work at a nature center and I would catch a Northern Black Widow female, with her egg sack, every season so people could see them. After the summer was over, I would let all the babies go in my back yard.

Yeah they sure do, been bit by couple but you just have to know which ones to avoid. I mostly handle the ones im brave enough to on cold days, their metabolism slows down, and I catch most during night hikes when it's pretty cold. Some are just too quick to handle. Most spider's fangs cant penetrate human skin and the ones that do, its no more painful than a mosquito or bee at worst. I just avoid the notorious ones but I have a friend that handles black widows and brown recluses without getting bit. Im more afraid of the small hamsters, those fukkers bite all the time.......:loon:

That's awesome! I'm terrified of creepy crawlers or else I'd be out and about catching random stuff. I have a pet rose hair tarantula, but I got her 6 years ago at a pet shop. She was just a baby back then, but she's HUGE now. I can handle tarantulas, they're so big and furry and cuddly looking... but those small/hairless things scare the crap outta me. And yes... hamsters are evil, especially the Teddybear hamsters! O_O
