What's your fave snake flick?
I like Anaconda alot cause even though J-Lo is in it...it still was a cool flick. I have it plus the sequel and Boa and Python on dvds.

Haven't seen a lot of snake movies but liked Anaconda, thought J-Lo was pretty sweet then. Another snake film i like more that i just thought of after i voted is Snakes on a Plane.:lol::clap:

Snakes on a Plane was a big disappointment to me. Too much CGI and crap in it. I hate that film lol.:poo:

Why is everyone dissing Snakes on a Plane? I LOVED that movie, and that's what I voted for! Annoconda was also really good, but I just prefered Snakes on a Plane for it's deaths, humor and simplicity. "I've had it with these mutha-f*cking snakes, on this mutha-f*cking plane!" :lol:
By the way, wasn't there recently a 3rd Annoconda film starring David Hasslehoff? I'm not sure.

I just Wikipedia'd it Yes there is. It sounds utterly terrible. I find David Hasslehoff too pretentious to be taken seriously. :lol:

:lol: Personally, I find the entire concept retarded....:roll: snakes on a plane...:loon: and the snake CGI is horrible, looks fake. They haven't figured out a way to do life like snake movements...:think:

I love snakes, so I will watch almost any movie with snakes in it! I haven't voted yet, because I am still trying to decide which is my fav. I can guarantee you it isn't Snakes on a Plane!!! That movie was lame. Poorly made and unbelievable! :x
I also hate it when a movie uses harmless snakes to represent poisonous ones! That is commonly done in a lot of snake movies. I personally know a king snake from a coral snake!
One of my first and probably favorite snake movies was SSSSSSS (I forget how many S's). It starred Dirk Benedict and was from 1973.

^ While I understand your gripe about harmless snakes being portrayed as poisonous. I for one cannot stand being near snakes, Ive been bitten by them too many times at my Summer camp job when picking up sticks and removing stumps. So If I were an actor and someone was like... here hold this Fer De Lance... or Black Mamba... I'd be like... "Ummmmm nah, I'm good" :lol:
But if it's one of those cut away pieces that the sci-fi originals have mastered where the live snake and person are never in the same frame then yeah they could have a snake handler have the real thing on the ground.

You didn't like Anaconda with J-lo and Jon Voight in it? I like that film alot and Voight is a bad ass in it.
