Fatally Yours just posted an article in which they interviewed 33 of the artists from NOTLD:R.

Since this project really got it's legs from connections made through this forum and a number of the artists involved and writers which helped to cover the project as it has been developing, I figured their would be some interest in this article which really turns the focus to a larger number of the people involved.

NOTLD:R is still in-progress... The DVD will be out later this year.

We're at the tail end of the project with the lion's share of the scenes already submitted. The DVD will also have a slew of watchable bonus features because instead of simply talking more about the production we're using that space to show off some of the short films, how-to's, comics, short stories, etc that these artists do best.

The Disk itself is even going to be a NOTLD themed phenakistoscope.
Example of a Phenakistoscope:

So once it comes out you'll be able to start enjoying zombie animation before you even get it in the DVD player by spinning the disk and looking through a slated viewer (in case).

So it shouldn't be too long of a wait but we hope to make it worth every minute.

I started the project. Largely, my role in the project is sequencing, assembling and editing all of the work though I do have a few scenes which I animated myself.

This is one of mine.

Howdy Neoflux,

I remember when you first brought this to the board and you had links to YouTube and some scene already submitted. Glad you got something going and congrats on you hard work paying off.

Thanks much, Retro. That first post was day 2 into NOTLD:R... 9 months, 500 artists and countless hours typing and hyping later, I'm pretty happy with how it's all shaping up.

We're still always looking for more artists to join up because more artists and work can only make the result stronger.:)

Thanks everyone for your ongoing support.

Hey guys,

When we hit the deadline the next version of the site is going to be available in multiple languages. I have some of the artists translating the text over into their native tongues but if there is anyone on here who is fluent in more then 1 language and would be willing to lend a hand in making the site available in the languages they know, I'd welcome any assistance.

Just shoot me an email (shenlon@hotmail.com) and I'll send you over a copy of the text which needs translating. Then when you shoot it back to me, I'll plug it into the site and bingo 1 more language for release date.

Thanks,

Looks very interesting. Good luck with it.

BTW, it aint P.S. , then P.S.2 - that's a game console

It's P.P.S. - just thought you should all know that.

Now...the lesson hath endeth.

Lol actually both are correct.

If it's PS then writing something after that would be PSS because it's post signature and then post post signature.

If it's PS1 then that implies there is more then 1 post signature and the follow up is PS2 meaning there are 2 post signatures not a post signature and a post post signature. If I had added a 3rd post signature at that point it would be PS3... but if I wrote those 2 then came back to it to add something else it would be PPS.

On our next obscure grammar lesson we'll all learn how both EX and EG are abbreviated forms of 'example'.

Hey all. Just an update.
It looks like we have people for English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Finnish, Romanian, and Russian. So if anyone speaks any other languages and is willing to help us to present the work in that language that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time and consideration.
