Hmmm. Why not? I suppose it may be interesting. Tell me that wouldn't be a frightening concept: zombie elephants.

I was playing it today after it got its European release on Friday..
It's difficult and a little hectic (The AI isn't always reasonable) but I'm enjoying it. The zombie elephant is pretty kewl :) Especially the bit where you play its performance music and it starts doing tricks... like, er, kicking walls down and stuff... :scare:
Anyone else played it?

Not yet, but I intend on grabbing it regardless of the reviews. People hated the first one... I liked it. Just waiting for a price drop.

Well, if you like the first one, then this is just more of the same for you :)
It was given a failry bargain price release here at £24.99 (Gamestop price) so I picked it up right away.. :)

<Flinch> oh, that must have smarted, Nirvoxx... :scare: Trade-ins can really break your heart.
I was playing a little bit more of file 2 this morning.. Like the first one, the more you play it, the more offay you get with it. It's no classic, by any means, but it's a wee resi fix to help dull the cravings for ... RESI 5! :drinking:

I just got infinity mode and it rocks! No more ammo for me
I wasn't a massive fan of the first one but picked up a copy of the second one yesterday anyway. Hopefully the loading times are a little quicker

Dude, I've said it to others, and I'll say it to you. "I can't help it if you're stupid". I mean, like Spiral said, trade-ins hurt. You gotta be savvy to get something from the man, and, well, trading in SH 1 and 2? That just ain't savvy, you savvy Law Dog? ( Just a little "Tombstone" humor there) :)
Plus, I like the concept of RE Outbreak a little more than the actual execution, and someday, someday, I'll be able to get online and play a little multiplayer with 2 of my friends and then...Zombies beware! I mean, if they could actually be cognizant of their coming demise, and all. Uhm, yeah.
Anyway, as has been said, it's still a decent RE fix.
Well i made it through the zoo, and am now stuck in the station. It's a little frustrating but it's still fun:)

hey....I had played silent hill 2 and 3( i meant 2 and 3 in my earlier post) numerous times, honestly I had gotten bored of those 2 and to me the resident evil series were waaaaay better, so in my eyes this[trading in sh2 and 3] was going to be the deal of the century! Was I being savy? maybe not. Maybe I should have waited till the reviews came out, but I never expected capcom to throw out a half assed games, so I was assuming this game was going to be the RE of the decade....does that make me stupid? no, so do me a favor, and dont call me that ok?

I was dissappointed by the Outbreak games in general. I did, however, think the first one was very much superior. I wasn't overly amused by Resident Evil: Dead Aim either. For me Resi is best when it sticks with what it does best... your ol' faithful puzzle-based survival horror! :)

I haven't played either game, but I might like the first one better, just because it looked better in the magazines.

Chill bro, I'm just messing with you.
I do not think it was a good idea that you traded in those games for Outbreak, but when I said you were stupid, I was kidding. It's sort of a canned response to a "D'oh!" moment. I've even said that to Zen Buddhakhan (sp?). But I'll try to remember that in the future. If it makes you feel any better, I have often referred to your posts as support for my own in other threads. :)

I'm fairly certain that you can only play multiplayer via online or system link. If your friends have systems, the easiest thing to do is to get all the systems, tvs for each, a lan hub, make sure your PS2s are online ready and link them up. That is, of course, if you don't have broadband internet. It kind of blows that you can't play multiplayer on one system but I'm discovering that the PS2 just isn't capable of more than 2 player splitscreen graphically. Which is something of a bummer.

What about multitap for up to 8 player action

That's what I'm saying. It's pretty much one player per system.
The more I play it the more i am enjoying it. I've finished all missions once except for the hospital.
If anyone knows where to find the code for the control room on the station level and Jeans desk on the RPD station level then feel free to tell me;-)
