Not in zombie films.......but what are some of the best kills that you have seen in other horror films?
Here's some that I liked:
The Mutilator - girl gets a hook to the crotch scene lol(sorry ladies) and then gets her head chopped off, a guy gets slashed up by a boat propeller, etc...
Intruder - a guy gets his head cut in half by a meat grinder
Suspiria - the first girl in it gets her head smashed up against a window and her friend gets stabbed to death viciously and then hung.
Jaws - Quint gets eaten by the shark.
Friday the 13th(1980) - Kevin Bacon gets a arrow through his throat
I will post more on here throughout the weekend.
So what are some of your fave kill scenes and no we're not wierd or psycho's for liking this kind of stuff cause we all know it's fake and I don't wish these kinds of deaths to anyone lol.:lol::drinking:

Here's some I just thought of:
Evil Dead Trap - asian flick with has great kills in it....there is one cool ass scene where a girl gets.....I can't even explain it cause so cool lol.
Friday the 13th part 2 - sheriff deputy gets the hammer to the head but it seems so real though lol.
The Pool - girl slipping down a waterslide gets a machete to the choocy lol.
Maniac - kinda rough kills in this 1980 flick starring Joe Spinelli
The Prowler - the killer gets his head blown off by a shotgun

Here are some of mine.
Dawn of the Dead 2004: Zombie janitor gats impailed through the head with the croquet mallet handle, and Andy gets his head blown off with a shotgun.
Dawn of the Dead 78: Every scene involving zombies feasting on someone. Same for Day of the Dead 85.
Seed of Chucky: John Waters' face melting in the darkroom.
Zombie: The famous eye-impailing scene.
Misery: Not a death, but the sledgehammer scene was still pretty rough.
Maximum Overdrive: The killer soda machine and steam roller at the baseball park!
Christine: The fat guy getting pinned in the storage alley.
Jason X: The frozen head-smash!
Planet Terror: The whole scene in the end involving Cherry Darling and her gun leg.
28 Weeks Later: The helicopter hacking all the infected in the field.
Dead Alive: The lawn mower! :rock:
Pulp Fiction: I know it's not a horror film, but all the deaths and injuries are worth noting.

I still get shivers from the scene in Day of the Dead (1985) when one of the soldiers is being torn apart and a zombie grabs his head and pulls it apart from the body while the soldier screams. His scream starts out as a bass male voice scream and quickly becomes a high-pitched scream as the vocal cords get stretched out. That still creeps me out.

Here are some old & new faves of mine :
Nightmare on Elm Street 3 : When Freddy comes out the top of the tv & pulls Jennifer's head into it.:evil:
Chopping Mall : Leslie's head explodes when she is zapped by the robot.:lol:
Creepshow 2 : Laverne is woken by getting the side of her face melted of by the thing in The Raft.:shock:
2001 Maniacs : Kat thinks she is up for some kinky sex instead she gets her limbs torn off when the horses she is tied to run in different directions.:evil:
Final Destination 2 : Rory gets sliced up by barbed wire fence then slowly falls apart.:evil::lol:
Final Destination 3 : Bimbos Ashlyn & Ashley get fried on the sunbeds.:evil:
In my opinion one of the nastiest deaths in a horror film ever, there is a nice alternative to this on the Choose their Fate version of this film, check it out folks.:)
Jack Frost : Not gory but just funny to see Shannon Elizabeth get F**ked to death by a killer snowman.:lol:
The Omen & The Omen '06 : The reporter gets Decapitated.

Pieces - lady gets stabbed in the back of the neck and it comes out of her mouth

You might wanna drink some beers though when you watch it cause it is a cheesy movie if this is your first viewing of it. I use to hate the film but it has grown on me and I like it.
Did you buy the new dvd of it cause it has a great lengthy interview with actor Paul Smith on it and it's interesting?

No, It's used & has no real extras.
The Gore Gore Girls - great kills in this film by H.G. Lewis..
Opera - Dario Argento film and has a great kill scene in it when the lady is looking through the peep hole of her door and the killer shoots his pistol through it and blows out her eye.
Sleepless - good kills in this Argento film too like a woman is stabbed to death in her face and mouth by the killer using some musical instrument.
Happy Birthday to Me - 80's slasher film where the killer stabs a guy in the mouth with a shish kabob.

Raiders Of The Lost Ark - german guy gets his face melted (not a horror i know)
Land Of The Dead - guy gets this face ripped off

Friday the 13th part 4 - Crispin Glover gets stabbed in the hand with a wine screw and then gets a butcher hatchet to the face.
Maniac - Tom Savini gets his head blown off by a shotgun
Bad Taste - funny movie with some great kills in it

Friday the 13th Part 2- Guy gets a machete to the skull then his wheelchair goes sailing down the stairs.
Nightmare on Elm Street "The Dream Master"- Joey gets drowned in the waterbed as Freddy asks "How's this for a wet dream?!"

Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers: Jamie gets gutted on a hay thresher
Exorcist 3 - nurse comes out of a room and right behind her is a killer with a blanket over their head and a huge pair of cutters aimed at her head.
John Carpenter's Vampires - Valek slices a guy in half with his sharp fingernails when he opens the motel room door.
Near Dark - Bill Paxton dances on top of the bar and then slices the bartender's throat with his spurs on his cowboy boots.

I liked the film and it was a helluva lot better than Exorcist 2: the Herectic and Exorcist: Dominion lol.:lol:

The best kill in it is that the father of the deranged family gets his pecker cut off by a broken bottle and then is attacked by his rottweiler which eats his nuts and guts.

I liked The Heritic more, trippy stuff.

Haha yeah the Spear-gun i forgot about that one :doh:
Ghost Ship - beginning of the film all the people on the main deck get sliced into parts by a wire.
Inside - a guy gets stabbed in the forehead with a pair of scissors
Wrong Turn - girl gets an axe to her face in a tree
Wrong Turn 2 - blonde headed girl at the beginning gets bitten in the face and then split into with an axe.
Severance - a guy gets killed when a bowie knife is shoved up his ass lol:lol:
Wilderness - a pack of dogs rip Sean Pertwee 's face upfter he is shot with a bunch of arrows from the killer
Hatchet - older lady gets her head twisted off

That was the coolest part of the film but the other kills were brutal too. quite a good little film but the acting was f**king pathetic.:lol:

Rose McGowan's caracter in Scream, Tatum Riley gets squashed when she is trying to escape out the dog flap in the electric garage door when the killer opens it.:evil::lol:
Friday the 13th 5 - guy gets lanced on the toilet :lol:
28 Days later - when the main character gouges out the bad soldiers eyes.
Sin City - When Elijah Wood gets his arms and legs chopped off, the wild dogs savage his torso:evil: yeah i know its not really horror
Silent Hill - When the religious zealot lady gets thrashed by the barb wire tentacles:scare:

Vacancy- When the lady hits the dude with her car, ouchy!!
Jurassic Park- guy eaten on toilet by t-rex (it's a lil bit horror in a sense)
My Bloody Valentine- takes the girls head off with a shovel, like at the jaw though
Lake Placid- diver in the beginning bit in 2
all i got 4 now
The new My Bloody Valentine has alot of good kills in it.
Martyrs had some good shotgun blast scenes in it.
No Country for Old Men - the killer shoots a person in the head with that cow prong thing he uses.

BAD TASTE: When the guy with the chainsaw kills the main alien by slicing through the top of his head and coming out his ass saying "Ive been born again" And gore is everywhere.

Suicide Circle:
The best "kill" i have seen a movie. The rest of the movie isn't that great, but the opening scene is awesome.
Saw V
The opening scene of Saw V, poetic.
I love the ending also
Ichi The Killer:
When Ichi slices the guy who is beating the prostitute in half, hilarous.
The scene where Ichi claims he doesn't want to kill, and goes in to the room and you see blood sprinkle out the door, then Kakihara walks into the huge corpse pile.
Battle Royale:
When the guys' head gets ripped off and a grenade stuffed in it, and thrown throught the window.

I don't remember if she dies or not, but that pin scene is nice and brutal.
