While down at my local Blockbuster tonight i came across this film, it appears to be a mad slasher film from 1983. I haven't seen it but recognized the title having read about it in my Splatter Guide, it doesn't rate it but what do you think? Hey RIP, i think this is your specialty.:)

PM BZN and he'll move it...:) I remember the name of this but believe it or not I was never a fan of slasher films in the 80's and probably didn't even watch it. I thought slasher films were some weak ass unimaginative movies...:lol:

I was more into the Zombies, Aliens, Predator, the Thing type of horror...:scare:

I have recently developed an appreciation for slasher films but only the good ones. :eat: The ones that are retarded and have no story i can do without...I watch enough dumb zombie movies to keep me busy...:lol:

I've done a bit digging on it & it seems it's a bit of a cult film, even Tarantino holds it in high reguard.

It's one of the better slashers from its time. Although the hallucination scenes are a bit cheesy.

There's talk of remaking it, maybe they'll get that part right this time.

I like House on Sorority Row alot but I wished that it showed more of the killer in the clown outfit throughout the film instead of the last 5 minutes in it. I liked the music to this film which was quite creepy and the killer's choice of weapon in the sharp cane. I also liked the bathroom kill scene too.

I enjoyed this a lot but agree that we should have seen more of the killer in the jester suit. I liked how they left the ending open for a sequel, i take it there wasn't one?

^I've seen new photos of the film and the killer uses the same cane in it so it could be a cool watch. I hope the killer wears the clown costume more in it though.
