Hey ive seen a few people mention this book over in the xombies section but theres no topic thread.

For people that dont know about it, its sort of like a zombie book, everyone over 20 kill there kids and sort of run/walk around mindless just killing and trying to figure out ways to kill the kids easier with have no regard for their self or each other.

Whatever if its not officially a zombie book.

I bought it at the same time as xombies and sadly started xombies first. This book is tons better, plenty of visuals, good story, pretty good explanation of the sudden craziness of adults. Pick it up if your tired of being tainted by xombies.

Yes, Blood Crazy is one of the best zombie-style books I have ever read. One of the best horror books in general. You should check out Stranger (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0843950765/permutedpress-20) also by Simon Clark. Not quite as good but it is along the same vein and a fun read.

BLOOD CRAZY and STRANGER are both great books. Simon's DARKNESS DEMANDS is also a good read, though there's nothing zombie zbout it at all. More supernatural than anything else.

If you liked BLOOD CRAZY, you might try AMONG MADMEN by Jim Starlin as well.

Among Madmen is a cross between BLOOD CRAZY and 28 DAYS LATER. A new form of schizophrenia makes totally normal people turn into blood-thirsty, murderous, crazed psycho zombies in a heartbeat. Civilization collapses. It came out back in the 80's but you can still get it on Amazon.
