Sooooooooo..... Let's watch a movie? :lol:
OK, I guess I can take a hint. ;-)
Well, I promised that we would get this old rust bucket back on the road, and that time has come! I think the problem with the old Movie Night was that members needed more advanced notice, and the movie nights needed to be held less frequently... We are now going to hold ATZ Movie Night once a month and everyone will be given 2 to 3 weeks notice as to the date we will all meet... In addition, I will try to give everyone 7-10 days notice as to what the movie title will be shown so that everyone will have plenty of time to rent or buy it from their local video store.
Even though we haven't had a movie night in almost 8 months, the movie club membership has grown to well over 40 members! Could you imagine if 40 ATZers showed up together to watch a horror flick simultaneously? Doubtful... However, one quarter of that amount would be more than sufficient... Now to get this thing going again, we need to first select a day of the week and a time that the majority of the members can agree on... Even though the day you've selected doesn't finish in first, I am considering taking the second place finisher, and scheduling our second ATZ Movie Night on that day... Provided there are enough members willing to participate, this will help get more people involved who normally couldn't be present at the first Movie Night due to work or some other obligation.
I will now post a new polling thread in the ATZ Movie Night (http://www.allthingszombie.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=27) forum so we can choose which day of the week is most convent for you... In this poll you will have the opportunity to make multiple choices... The more days you choose the better it will be for everyone... If you can't make a particular day, no sweat! Don't worry about it... Don't choose a day just to please other people... It's better knowing that you're definitely going to be here rather than not showing up at all.
The next two polls posted will have to do with Time of Our Get Together, and the Movie that will shown... Before the Movie Poll is posted, I think we'll put together a thread to nominate which movies will be on the polling list.
