I just watched Zombie Nosh[Revenge of the living dead] for the 2nd time[it's been 10 years] & really enjoyed it, it got me thinking about the difference between big & low budget horror films. We all know from the 1st scene if a film has money behind it or not but does it matter, there is a big visual differance between Rob Zombie's Devils Regects & Halloween but they are both kick ass movies. I also recently watched Ghoul School[low] & Maniac Cop[higher] but Ghoul smoked it, I think once you know what it is you should just take it for what it is & enjoy the gore.

I think the first time I saw Flesheater(aka Zombie Nosh)...I hated it but it's one of those films that grows on you over time. Yeah it was very cheaply made. I have no idea what the budget was but it had to be around $50,000 or less I think. I have seen very low budget piece of shits that were made for around $1,000 that I actually enjoyed compared to anything by Uwe Boll. Now if you wanna say whose the worst director ever.....it's Uwe Boll in my book. He's a complete asshole and Ed Wood would get an oscar big time compard to this idiot.
I'm helping produce a low budget film now which is gonna be in stores soon called Fetus by my buddy Brian Paulin who directed Bone Sickness(which is on dvd from Unearthed Films), At Dawn They Sleep, and Mummy Raider. Bone Sickness is a cool ass gory film which only had like a budget of $2,000 and I enjoyed the hell outta it. I became friends with Brian through the net and then when he asked me if I wanted to help out on Fetus I was excited and did. I now have $600 into it but will put another $400 into it next month to help out with the dvds. I have the screeners for Fetus here and it's gory as hell. Brian took special makeup effects and arts from Dick Miller and Tom Savini's school up north. I think Fetus will have a good budget on it all together but I don't wanna say what it is yet til Brian tells me.
There's a trailer for Fetus on youtube if you all wanna see it now and then at the end you will see my name Rip Moore as one of the associate producers so check it out. Brian is making a new film now called Blood Pigs and so far of the pics that he sent me.....it looks goo and gory.

As low budget (and poorly named) as Automaton Transfusion was it had some amazing gore. The scene with the baby was effing sick.
I mean really there is alot of low budget films out there that really do have some decent gore in them compared to BIG name hollywood shits nowadays. I find them all the time by talking to people on the net or whatever and find low budget films that I would rather see then the big time craps out there.
