The Wire (TV)

Hello all, just wondering if anyone else has watched this great show. Its been seriously f***ed over with the tv stations. Over here it gets shown on TG4 the Irish Language channel and on Channel FX, which i believe gets tiny viewer ratings. Its mad, cause the show is getting fantastic reviews on both sides of the Atlantic, but yet no-one seems to have heard of it here. Those who have watched The Wire, like me have become fanatical about it. Im a big Sopranos and Oz fan, because of the amazing characters those shows have. But i gotta say, for me The Wire has seriously blown both shows away with its amazing story-lines and equally amazing actors. Ive bought season 1 to 4 on dvd already, with Season 5 not out till October I think. But yeah Im sure you can check it out online first. So yeah has anyone else seen The Wire?
