I say we do a Jap Horror night. If you all haven't gotten into the this genre then I highly recommend it.

how about a john carpenter night, escape from new york, the thing, big trouble in little china, vampire - sure were already watching halloween but we can just leave that one off.

Maybe we should have movie nights that aren't about horror or zombie films. We could have a comedy night sometime (like Tommy Boy or King Pin or whatever the majority vote is).

oh one other sugestions - perhaps a poll free week, Diary of the dead comes out on DVD on the 20th I believe it is, so that saturday - the 24th, perhaps we could have a Diary of the dead release party movie night, just a thought :scare:

Maybe we could have a Bruce Campbell night we could watch The Evil Dead then Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn and Army Of Darkness (3rd movie to the evil dead series)

I would REALLY like to see Movie Night be restarted! I'm guessing that the reason the chatroom idea died down was because of the night they had it set on, and I agree with Monday as a good restart launch date. I just hope it comes back soon (or at all).

YES!!! Monday nights would be absolutely perfect for me! Work every Saturday night and was trying to figure out a way to not miss movie night...

I agree. Mondays would work for me, too. I never got to take part in the others because I have to work Saturdays as well.

I would love for movie night to start again. I did get to most of the ones on Saturdays, but Mondays would be fine too. I have to work early on Tuesday, but I usually don't go to bed until 11:00 or so anyway.

Unfortunately only Saturdays are the only nights I can count on not having to work.:-(
I'm usually off Friday night, but not always.

I plan on watching a movie tonight about 7:00pm my time. I don't have Planet Terror in my dvd collection of 967 dvds if you can believe that lol.

If you would name another horror film then I'm sure that I would own it on dvd lol or vhs cause I have like 200 movies on vhs too.

Oh and for that chat thing, everyone had aim or yahoo or something we could just start a chat room through something like that. Or we could all install Vent and then have voice chats with each other...That would be really cool!!!

so...how about next thursday?

how's about everyone throws in an idea for a movie, and on sunday we start voting on the movie to watch, and then tuesday we close the poll and see who wins?.....it's a tight schedule, but i like doing things quick....also, it'll give us a decent idea of how many people are really interested in doing movie night

but i wouldn't be against stretching out the voting and doing it in a couple weeks if that's more convenient for people

I just want this to come back up so we could watch a movie and comment on it like Mystery Science Theater (I watched MST3K for the 1st time ever this summer, and I want to see if I have what it takes to be like them).

You can join without any assistance... Just follow these steps:
