nah. theres some kickass games on the first gen stuff.

diconnected my 360, canceling my live account.. retired from the clan (62-18:doh:).... focusing on the army. :-(

I've been playing the old-school Resident Evil games (RE2 and RE3) and some others. Mostly been playing PC stuff like Call of Duty 4 though. but when I want to go console, I fire up an RE game or Metal Gear.

I would say no, I had a Xbox 360 and sold it due to lack of playing it much.

I have yet to be really impressed by this latest gen of systems, sure the games are sparkly and pretty but thats pretty much all imo, sure some of the games are good, but lately ive been kicking it old school and having a shit ton ton of fun and having even more fun remembering just how great gaming used to be.

I strongly believe that the best days of gaming are behind us, I have a hard time imagining any of the new systems being able to beat snes or ps1 or n64.

at the moment im playing throuhg FFIII on snes, got all the way to kefkas tower with one super all powerful party but turns out i need 3, now i have to spend hour after hour leveling up 2 more parties :doh:

for anyone with a ps2 or a Wii I would highly recommend the game I have been playing like a maniac for the last 4 days.

Pinball Hall of Fame : The Williams Edition.

It is the best looking, best playing pinball game since like '98 Hyper Pinball 3D.

It has Wirlwind, Funhouse, Black Knight, Gorgar, Taxi, Pinbot and a slew of others. Really fantastic and is a bargin buy; 19 for ps2 29 for Wii.

Semi hard to find though as I think you need to order it online.

Umbrella Chronicles and Crisis core.

How far are you in Umbrella Chronicles? It's a really fun game but I stopped playing it after I started with another person...It's just way more fun when you play with someone else. I guess that's a Wii game for you though!

The nex gen system thing really isn't that big a deal. I went crazy trying to get my Wii only to realize that it's really not that amazing. My 360 gets WAY more use. If you ask me if any of the nex gen systems were really worth having it is the 360.

I do love my NES emulator I have on my iphone. It really is amazing....wish I actually had an nes.:cry:

The last new game I played was "Army Of Two". Not bad, but the game was really short and the "bosses" could've been more interesting. Started off playing two-player/split-screen mode with my brother, but he gets motion-sickness easily, so I had to finish with the computer A.I. partner. The A.I. is either way too passive or way too aggresive which makes him a bit tough to manage.

I was really let down by that game. all the enemies had hte ps2 type mentalities.... I expected alot more. But hopefully since its a new type of game that the 2nd will be loads better..

yea I absolutely hated the AI partner in army of two to the point of not being able to play it for more then a few hours before I wanted to set my xbox on fire and drop it off the roof -

GTA4. Im getting bored of it. I think they tried to make it too "real life". I meant having to drive across the islands just to go on the internet and check your online dating?:loon: boring and a waste of time. True Crime: LA (a great way to spend $2). Best part is there's a trick to make your character look like a zombie. Apparently the code "J1MM" when entered as your license plate (using L + R) changes your character to the zombie. Good stuff.

GT5 for PS3. I got the new Logitec wheel and the Playthings racing car seat and wheel/pedal mount for it. so it's like sitting in a car and racing. It makes the best racing game ever even better! Also I picked up Euro 2008 which i;ve been playing.

Hmmm... Well I dont really get how it is unbalanced. You can play it skd(Spawn, Kill, Die) if you want by spawning with your squad or you can slow it down and spawn at base.It has vehicle's, HUGE maps, Environmental destruction that isn't just for looks and a good selection of weapons. What is unbalanced about the game?

Not too much a fan of COD4, i mean yeah i have it and all but i lost interest because all the levels and games are pretty much the same. No real new experience for me. I'd rather play halo because all the levels there are different envirement's. You have Desert, Snow, tropic, Night, Grassy. Call of duty its just pretty much all the same besides they have Arid/Grassy. Not really a fan though, Plus COD5 isn't going to be too good in my opinion because its back into world war two. From having all these sophisticated weapons/gadgets to being put back where they don't have that many cool gadgets on the battle field isn't going to be too popular. Thats what you get when two company's take turns making the game.

watched saving private ryan, then i kinda got in "WW2 mode" so i popped in COD 2...played a few single player levels for nostalgia sake then went and played online...really a good shooter.

been thinking of playing a RE again...im just not sure wich one yet....its a toss up between 3 and REmake...or maybe code veronica...dammit

1. Thing-Thing Arena 2 (i love it its simple yet extremely addicting)
2. Pandemic 2 (you get to infect the world:evil:)
3. Mobsters (browser based game on myspace)

and last but not least
4. Combat Arms (its a free online fps with a bunch of weapons and different maps to play on. Kinda like CSS:drinking:
