I was 'Even-Steven' this week... I got promoted to Admin, and in addition things are looking on the up & up around here... On the other end, I have an engine light on the dash of my SUV, so I must take it in for servicing this Sunday... Also I found out from the dentist that I have a new cavity. :) :-( http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/bzn123/Smileys/Characters/1bnz_smiley.gif

This week has been very tiresome. My boyfriend has been sick all week and the teacher that I work with is an idiot, so that just made my job ten times harder. I'm just glad it's Friday so that I can catch up on my sleep.

We had a serious bout of bad weather at school today. The morning was acually pretty nice, but around noon it started to rain like crazy, and by the end of the school day all the after school events were cancelled and a lot of the roads were starting to flood. I went home at around 3:30 and took a nap, and when I woke up I found out that a tornado took out part of the town I go to school in! And the damage was literally less than a mile away from the high school! I'm going to be sure to get some photos of the damaged areas and businesses first thing tomorrow morning.

Wow looks like everyone has had a pretty good week compared to mine.
Here's my terrible week:
My grandma is in the hospital and could die at any second.
My grandpa was diagnosed with brian cancer and his left lung is infested with cancer.
My mother had a skin cancer mole removed from her arm.
The turbo on my car went out so I had to get that fixed with money I don't have.
I have had to go in extremely early to work everyday just so I can get all my work done in time. which isn't as bad as all the other stuff that's happened.
And I can't seem to find any decent writing software for my novel.

Goddness UYHCOT! Sorry to hear about your Grandparents. :-( Hopefully their conditions will improve in the coming weeks. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/bzn123/Smileys/Characters/1bnz_smiley.gif

I just got home from my very first play performance! I was awesome as my character (I was the dean of a college in "The Dreaming Tree"), and I got a lot of congrats from audience members who saw it. I got another performance tomorrow afternoon, and I just can't wait! Wish me luck!
Not a bad day. Had a bit of a reawakening as it where. Pulled my self out of my hole long enough to remember who I was. Decided to stop by here again and see what's what.
Haven't been around in a while. Might try and stay above water here for a while.

I had a pretty active week since last friday. I saw a picture of me in last week's school play on the front page of the high school newspaper, which is really cool. We also had MAP testing this week for science, but that wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. One of my car's belts broke, and I had to take it to a mechanic for about 4 days. And my Mom's van broke down beyond repair, and she had to buy another one with her student loan money. But other than that, nothing much in the last 7 days.

Haven't been on the boards in quite a while, but our daughter was born in March and we've been quite busy getting accustomed to "the big change" in our lives. On top of all that, I was out repairing a section of our privacy fence in the backyard last week and found a tick under my left arm the next day. Now I've had literally HUNDREDS of ticks throughout my life and never thought anything about them, but less than 24 hours after pulling this one out, I became extremely feverish with severe muscle aches, a sore scratchy throat and cough, a bad headache and ringing in my ears. I went to the doctor the next morning and discovered that where the tick had been was now red and swollen and itchy, which has never happened to me before. The doc put me on Doxycycline, or something like that, and told me to take Advil 3 times a day with Nyquil at night to put me to sleep since the fever had kept me awake for two days already. Anyhow, today is the first day that I'm feeling well enough to sit up for more than a half hour, so hopefully I'm getting over this crap, whatever it is. The worst thing is that I sorely need to mow my lawn but can't since this prescription makes me extremely photosensitive so that I can't go out in the sun for any extended periods. Oh well....Guess I'll be mowing a field next week instead of just a lawn!

Gigantour: A night of headbanging, guitar solos, pissing in strange places, and a good dose of T & A.
My ears are still ringing! All the bands were great, I was especially surprised with Job For A Cowboy, and High On Fire was great as well. Next up was Children of Bodom, who came out playing Sixpounder, with Living Dead Beat after that. During their second song, the crowd broke down the security barricade, so they stopped the show for about half an hour to fix it. "F*** this shit" and "Bullshit" chants followed this event. All was well, and Bodom returned and proceeded to rock the f*** out.
After that, In Flames performed, which was great, the singer is a really funny guy. In anticipation for the headling act, "Walk" by Pantera was played over the speakers. Having the whole arena shouting, "RESPECT! WALK! WHADDYA SAY?!", was epic. We all sang Run To The Hills as well. Finally, Megadeth entered and blew my balls off! I was in a constant state of euphoria the entire time they were on stage. Dave Mustaine is a living legend, and their new guitarist, Chris Broderick, proved to be a welcome addition, much better than Glen Drover. They played some new songs, as well as the classics, such as Tornado of Souls, Skin O' My Teeth, Peace Sells..., Take No Prisoners, Hangar 18, etc. Then Holy Wars was the final song. Yeah, not much else to say, I had the time of my life, really. Expect pics!

I just came back from seeing my sister's graduation in Indiana over the weekend, which was really nice. I tried to post on these forums yesterday after I came back, but when I came to this site, it instead took me to some place called A Small Orange, which said I couldn't get onto my account. I sent them an email asking what the problem was, and now I guess it's fixed up because I'm posting. Did anyone else get that glitch?

It wasn't our fault, it was the server administrator's... We were down for about 8 hours, and hopefully the problem has been corrected... Kev is entertaining the possibility in shopping around for a new sever to host ATZ... We'll keep you posted of any new developments if they should occur. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/bzn123/Smileys/Characters/1bnz_smiley.gif

After months of searching, I finally got a new job! I'm going to be working for my Dad upstate (which was why I couldn't have tried to work there before) in a landscaping business. It's going to be tough as hell planting trees in the summer heat, but at least I'll finally have some good money saved up. And by the time my senior year begins in August, I'll have over $1000 in my bank account.

last night my girlfriend came home from a staggette pissed out of her tree she was mumbling and crashing into walls and woke me up (bout 3am) this morning I had bfast and noticed a bunch of those mardigras type beads I noticed she had borrowed my digital camera for last nights festivities so I figure it's my camera. I must a counted 10 pictures of her posing slutty with random guys from the bar. Why do woman go ape shit at stagettes? I've been to bachelor parties and it never occurs to me to act like a nob (even when I am single). Whatever I'll make sure my next bachelor party involves strippers prostitutes and a donkey (that aught to make for some interesting photos).
It must have been the night for significant others to get pished! My wife went out for 'an hour' with her mother and rolled home at around midnight (six hours later). She staggered up the path, lost her shoe, fell through the door, crawled into the middle of the floor and passed out. She regained consciousness just long enough to throw up and I had to drag her onto the sofa to pass out. As she kept waking up to throw up I had to sit with her until around 3am, at which point she had regained enough control of her motor functions to make it upstairs.
She then spent the next 16 hours in bed, while I managed to get three hours kip before the kiddies woke up and demanded attention.
It's a good job I love her, 'cause I think that if I didn't she may have ended up buried in the back garden.

My week has been a lot better since last week. I'm getting used to my new landscaping job, along with alternating to a new sleep schedule (I've been pretty much nocturnal until 2 weeks ago). I managed to put in a 33 hour work week, and after placing cement onto the edge of some rich woman's house for 8 hours, I took a shower and drove 2 and a half hours to see my mom for the weekend, where I'll cash my first paycheck in four months to get myself an MP3 player.

Well it's been a while since I last posted on here. Not a lot has changed though, work is still going as average as can be so I've taken a couple of weeks off. I finally moved out of my parents house, now renting a house with a mate of mine which is freaking sweet. There's been lots of getting drunk and plenty of parties which is starting to make the place look like a bit of a mess but it's goign pretty well so far.
Today has been good, finally went to see the Dark Knight, still don't understand what all the fuss was about.

I am depressed this week. I been single (meaning boyfriendless) for a few months now. kinda sad to be home alone on a Saturday night. Also I feel blown off by my best friend. She seems to have no interest to do anything over the past month or so since i canceled out on a trip to the Missouri state fair with her. what can I say I am not the outdoors kind of person. I ate being out in the heat all day. I feel like i have no friends lately. I may be just depressed. My birthday is in 2 weeks and I get sad around this time. Becoming 39 and all.

Today was my last day of work in landscaping. Overall I got some really good pay over the summer (and today was all overtime, so I know I'll get a good last paycheck), and hopefully my bank account won't dwindle that badly while I try to find a new job during my school year. I'm going to start my senior year on Thursday, and I'm planning to get some new school supplies before then. Other than that, nothing that interesting has happened.
