what would you do if you were on vacation and a zombie outbreak occured...

assume you have no weapons (guns knives etc.)

you only have a little bit of clothes in a bag

you are un furmiliar with the area

the country/state is compleltly locked down and you are stuck in there

you are with a small group of 3 (friends or family)

you have 500 dollars

where would you go and what would you do?

This is the worst scenario, i am mostly in the US,UK or France, in these three countries i'd be ok, but if for example when i went to Turkey & China these countries i think i would be in big trouble, the sheer number of zombies in the cities, lack of language skills ( on my part ) means i can't read the street signs = me running round, frantic, just writing about it i am feeling :scare:

yeah it does suck...

i would be lost regardless of signs if i dont know the area...i would give someone my 500 bucks to be my guide:lol:

i would have a bag of clothes and stuff so i would just run around until i found stores that had some stuff i needed (food, medicine, guns) and i would try and find a car dealership and just steal the nicest car there...then i would drive around town looking for survivors that way they can tell me where to go and help find the best spot to stay:clap:

I wish you could see the picture in my minds eye, Istanbul is not a place to drive at any time, in the event of zombie mass panic, oh boy, like i said i hate to think about me being there if the outbreak comes.
Maybe the only way is to try & borrow a boat or use the $500, as for my friends well if we get split up, i dunno, bad bad bad

I'd be screwed.

I would do the usual drill, find weapons and supplies, hole up somewhere and lock it down, wait for the cavalry.

I'd have to say with 500 bucks and on vacation in the States.. life wouldn't be bad at all!

Since I don't have a passport, I guess it'll be safe to say I'll be staying somewhere in America at the time of an outbreak; and since my furthest relatives live in Minnesota & Oregon, I would acually be all right anyways. I would try to find any stores in the area I'm in to loot for necessities, and hold up in an unconventional place no one would think of (like a movie theater or bowling alley). And with my fellow vacationers on my side, all I would have to do is steal a car and find a way back to Missouri (I know that it's near to impossible to quarantine an ENTIRE STATE, so maybe there's a side road or something I can use).

I would search for whatever stores I could find that I had supplies I could use.
Then I would find the safest place I could and barricade myself in and hope for the military to come.

Wow that would suck...Usually when people go on vacation they go to a city. I can't see my family going somewhere that's actually cool, so now France or Spain for me. It would be more like London, or Sydney.

Honestly I don't see my current location making it any different. You are still going to be running around frantic, atleast I will be.

I would take my cash and fill my car and an extra couple of containers with gas. Then I would get the hell out of that country or location asap. Along the way, I would pick up various supplies with whats left of my cash.

Of course, this may all be after I freak out about zombies actually existing.

I will probilly be at Disneyland, and I would turn it into my cool zombie survival compound.

If I was on vacation in another country, I'd be in the U.S (Or maybe Canada, can't really afford anything else). Lucky for me I'm fluent in English, know a fair bit about the country and it's teeming with guns so... I guess I would go through the same "get supplies and a vehicle" routine, then head to PA (I got unfinished business in Doylestown), then to Tenessee, and finally somewhere up north near the Canadian border since it's the only region in the U.S. that wouldn't be affected by fallout if nuclear plants had some sort of problem.

going on vacation with no guns or other supplies is failing to plan properly . I plan my vacations around places where my CCW licence is valid so I can protect my family . when I went to merttle beach this spring I took 2 pistols , 5 spare mags , 200 extra rounds of ammo and a shotgun with 50 rounds of buck and slugs. I also brought a large knife , a case of water , and of course plenty of other usual items one would take on vaction. but assuming I'm a 10yo. kid with parents that don't pack for crap ...

I'd take the $500 and go to a ace hardware. get 2 hachets , and a piece of 1 1/2" water pipe , 2 rolls of duct tape and electrical tape , 2 gal of aceitone and a case of canning jars , 2 5-gal gas cans would also be handy. then to a grocery store for some much needed food stuffs and other supplies , then make my way home ,burning as needed .

one hitman remind me not to piss you off when on vacation. second try for a military surplus store before going to a hardware store.

"A translation Book is a good thing to have, when traveling to a place where they speak a different language. That way, if the Zombies rise, you will know a Gun Store from a Toy Store." :)

"I rarely, if ever, leave the country. But if I did, I'd make sure, once I got there, that I knew my way around first. Where the large cities are, the small towns, and structures and such. Make a friend or two, and do my best to learn the language. That way, if Zombies come along, I won't be running around blind."

Thats one of the nice things about SC the Governor is not a commie fag that hates guns. I was in MB two weeks ago with my pocket pistol and a G-20.
The sumbitch that pounds on my door intending harm better be ready to meet St. Peter and be judged.

Those horror movies where a couple cower in fear as someone is breaking in the door just would not happen to me. If all else fails 10mm is a pretty good penetrator.

Well mate, if you're in Oregon, then you can just come over to the southeastern Portland area, and we'll hook you up with whatever you need.

I don't go anywhere without my Swiss, with that I'd cut a decent sized piece of some kind of hardwood, and that would be my weapon until further notice. From there, I'd go and find supplies.

I reside currently in FL but raised in the UK... I find myself going there alot... I know Liverpool like the back of my hand and I have planty of detailed maps whenever I got anywhere else... If so happened I would head over the channel into France... If I can get my damn passport by that time to be in a ffect to France (Only valid for UK trying to get mine valid so I can surprise my girl with a trip on the Chunnel to Paris when I take her to London next month... I have been trying for about 3 months to get it valid to France but America seems to hate me >_>

seeing as how the last time i went on vacation without a weapon was at least 10 yrs ago, and the fact that i no longer travel outside the us, and the majority of states have reciprocity laws so my permit is also good there. my only problem would be finding a place to hole up.
