you have just witnessed the first zombie attack its first victim...and you have a choice...walk away and let the zombie apocalypse unfold or kill the first zombie and victim and get a life sentence in jail or an insane asylum for killing to people or "zombies"....

i would personally capture the zombies and let them loose in a them park or something hahahahahah

seriously though i would make sure 100% that it was a zombie...and i would wait to see if the victim rised from the dead...then i would get all my gear together for z-day....

Check out the movie Dead Men Walking. Short story is a guy unleashes the zombie virus onto his friends and kills(murders) them all and gets sent to prison.:lol: Not a bad flick. Good gore.

I figure I'd kill the zombie and capture the victim until they changed into a zombie then thats my proof.:think:Chances are though that it wouldn't matter, where we find one zombie they're are probably others.:scare:

I'd kill the zombie and then restrain the victim. I'll take my chances, after all, it the victim revives, I'd been in the clear anyway. I would just let them run off into the night, and then get as much stuff as I can and take my family to a safe location to lay low. If they're the first, than I have at least a week to get somewhere safe like an island or bomb shelter.

Seriously, if zombies carry some sort of microbial pathogen, I think you have a chance of being in the clear, at least when they put 2+2 together. If they're supernatural, well, I guess you're screwed.

If you get arrested for murder, they'd need to be aware that a biological agent existed before they could screen for it. Even then they might not be able to isolate it or otherwise identify it.

In the first hours of an outbreak i wouldn't want to idle away my precious hours in the cooler.

Well the hypothetical situation was that you could prevent the outbreak, at the expense of facing the consequences of your actions, that might be judged as common murder. So in that case, if they throw you into the cooler it's because you've stopped the outbreak.

As much as I would enjoy living in a post apocalyptic zombie infested world. I would most probably kill the zombie and subdue the infected in someway. Then I would sell the virus to some large corporation and make millions. Pointless yes, but being able to live like a king for a few months, priceless.

yeah, boy i feel sorry for the first few 50 or so who shoot up the zombies before the outbreak takes hold, they are going to be thought of as maniacs & locked up or worse, me because i have an intolerance to any sort of injustice i would try & get these guys or gals out if possible.

I warned the attacker to stop several times, and then fired a warning shot, but the attack continued. It came down to the point where I had no choice but to open fire to save the victim's life. Tragically, my bullets over penetrated the attacker and struck the victim as well.

Oh, I just feel awful. I did my best and yet it just wasn't good enough.
