experiencing bad chest pain

I used to get some chest pains for 5-6 years. I went to the doctor and was told I have a heart murmur; well the pain went away for the most part as I got older. But this morning suddenly I began experiencing bad chest pain. It felt like a bunch of needles trying to come out of my chest. The pain seemed to originate from the left side of my sternum. Please state it in details. Thanks a lot.

OK i use to get that pain as well and i as well have a Heart Murmur. your best bet is to go to the Dr. they will prescribe you some meds and you shouldn't feel that pain anymore.
