Description from Netflix: When a meteor carrying a viral alien organism crashes near the outskirts of Lawton, Calif., residents of the town are caught off guard as the infection spreads like wildfire, threatening to destroy the entire community. Can a pretty teen (Virginia Dare) find a way to stop the contagion before it reaches Los Angeles? Morgan Weisser, Scott Paulin and Albert Abelew also star in this white-knuckle tale of terror from director Albert Pyun.

My thoughts: First off, this is filmed entirely from the point of view of a camera inside a police cruiser. A majority of the film consists of the dialog of two characters, footage of the back road the cruiser is moving along, and supposedly alien-sounding sounds. The bits of film that don't show the vehicle driving are pretty boring as well. This film, although it might have sounded like a decent idea is a waste of time. I finished watching it with three realizations: I should have not rented it, I could have watched it in fast-forward without missing much, and I was glad it was not a full length film.

Has anyone else had the misfortune of watching this?

I thought for a minute you were talking about that Nicole Kidman piece of crap that came out last year. I haven't seen either one, but thanks for the heads up! I'll be dodging both of them now.
