It's a rarity nowadays to come across artwork that is both chilling and thought-provoking. San Diego artist Bryan Barnes' artwork captures the beauty in darkness. The things that we would rather forget and the things that terrify us.
His artwork features images of cancer patients, vericose veined women, and other images of gruesome humanity. His art and photography is inspiring and reminds the viewer that there is fragility in everything. Life has it's ugly endings but there can be a sense of hope and optimism in the darkest of events and the most dire moments of life. We got the chance to speak with Bryan about his art and how he got started in his craft.
