"What would happen to planet earth if the human race were to suddenly disappear forever? Would ecosystems thrive? What remnants of our industrialized world would survive? What would crumble fastest?"
It’s a 2 hour special showing what would happen if we all disappeared one day...very interesting subject.... kinda reminded me of a zombie apocalypse, without the zombies...its creepy to imagine oneself living in a world like this

They are showing it again Wed Jan 23, at 8pm pacific time.
I liked the part how high rises became thier own eco systems for rats, roaches, pigeons, and cats.

It reminded me of Logan's Run with The Old Man living in an ovegrown Washington DC with all of those cats he calls his friends.

Just with hybrids of dogs breeding with wolves and the possibility of flying cats (like the flying squirrels) in the high rises.

Just a few small things, I seen a program like that on the Animal Planet. Very good. I like those Walking with Dinosaur type of programs. Theres a kick ass one called Prehistoric Park where they go back in time to capture prehistoric beast for a modern day zoo.

badass. I think I remember that primates had reached their peak with us, and that birds were now taking over as the dominant species. Such interesting shows.

I watched it again last night. It reminded me more of Stephen Kings The Stand than a zombie apocalypse.
