I must stop picking movies just because of the title. I must stop picking movies just because of the title. I must stop picking movies just because of the title. I must stop picking movies just because of the title.

I'd write that fifty more times and call this done. Effective? Maybe, if you avoid this flick because of it, but it's certainly not a substantive review. So let's move on.

This is your basic "group stuck in a house trying not to be killed" movie, done badly.

There is no gore, but there's a bit of blood. The makeup effects are terrible, consisting mostly of rubber head masks drooling various colored liquids. The film was made in Belgium, so the movie is dubbed in English. Watching the actors, it looks like almost everyone spoke English, so I'm guessing that the dubbing was done because everyone had outrageous accents, or to even out the sound levels. Either way, the dubbing is as shitty as the rest of the movie.

The butler is not an asshole. Neither is one guy's girlfriend, although that's debatable because she sneaks off and bangs the first stranger that smiles at her. Other than that, every last character in this movie is either so unlikable that you can't wait for them to die, preferably horribly, or… nope, you just hope they all die.

The Straight Dope:
Troma didn't have anything to do with the making of this movie, they're only the distributors. That doesn't absolve them for their part in this mess, though they almost saved this release with plenty of decent extra features. Set your expectations low enough and prepare to have your intelligence not just insulted, but brutally assaulted and left for dead, and you might enjoy this movie. I couldn't.

Blurbtastic:
"Gee Grandma, what large teeth you have!"
