My Dead Girlfriend (2006)

I tried the search engine and couldn't find anything on this.

I watched it awhile back and found it to be an entertaining and amusing zombie flick with some cool dialog and decent gore. The premise is that a woman is into witchcraft and uses a spell that will unite her and her lover forever. After he accidentally kills her, the spell goes into affect and she returns to life as a flesh-eating zombie. Now, her lover must try to keep her zombieness hidden from others while trying to satisfy her urges at the same time. Good stuff. It's not destined for greatness, but it is definitely worth seeing. I highly recommend everyone check it out.

Sorry, BZN. I meant I couldn't find anything about it on ATZ. I'm trying not to start any repeat threads. Thanks for the extra info though. I actually looked into the director a bit, but none of his other films sound too great to me.

Hell, I'd settle for any kind of girlfriend right now. :)

Anyway, I think I gave this *1/2 out of **** - a good try, but very cheap and not quite good enough to overcome its limitations.

I saw it last year and loved it, its very funny. Although some of the other movies of the 'star/writer/director' are very cheap and lame.

I watched it this morning, and I thought it was a descent effort for a low budgeter... I felt what made this film was the acting, and the subtle humor... I got the feeling right from the start, that the film's lead character 'Steve' (aka Brett Kelly (http://us.imdb.com/name/nm1448482/)) was also the director... He had a confident, and comfortable attitude that played right into his role... I also agree that the gore, and makeup where well done for a film of this caliber, however I thought the violence was a bit amateurish, or even laughable. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/bzn123/Smileys/Characters/1bnz_smiley.gif
