Like alot of folks, I grew up watching Get Smart every week on television. When I heard there was going to be a movie, I was skeptical to say the least. When Steve Carell was cast as the lead my hopes went up just a bit, and now that I've seen the trailer I'm totally stoked about it! Only Leslie Nielsen could play a straight man this well!! June 20th release date...

I am not a huge steve carrel fan, but IMO hes the only one for this roll, he looks and acts and even sounds like don adams, I think its going to be pretty damn good, plus alan arkin is in it and hes a great actor too.

Yeah! I grew up watching Get Smart as well and I loved it. I'm at work right now so I can't watch the trailer but that's the first thing I'm doing when I get home.

"Although, I do have my personal doubts about Anne Hathaway as Agent 99. She looks to 'Beauty Queen Proper' for my tastes. Agent 99 was more down to earth, IMHO." :)

Oooooh... Can't wait for this! I usually don't go to the theatre for comedies, but this might be one of the exceptions!
