I'm hoping to see this at some point. Netflix still doesn't have a potential release date for it though.

The Coen Brothers do it again! A very dark, symbolic, and witty movie. Wonderfully written and filmed.

Very good movie. The character played by ??? Javier Bardem was brilliant. The image with the big hair, carrying that cylinder and his demeanor was different.

Has anyone here read the book?

finaly saw this movie, man it was amazing, still a bit confused about the very last scene, but ill contemplate it for a while and figgure it out im sure

love the fact they decided to not use a score for most of the movie, it really added alot to the atmosphere, the whole quietness of the movie, the scene where moss is sitting in the hotel room and sees someones shadow moving outside the door, you could hear a pin drop in the theater.

9 / 10 ( will be 10 / 10 once i figgure out the ending )

Yep... Absolutely phenomenal book. Then again, I have yet to be disappointed in a Cormac novel. The Coens followed the book rather closely as well.

Here's hoping The Road is as good of a film adaptation!

Uhm WoW.
Let me fist state that this movie was not what I expected. I was expecting a movie where, honestly, some older men are tossed out and left to forge a trail of deceit and destruction behind them.

Directed by the Coen Brothers (One of their best)

The movie is basicly revolved around a busted up drug deal, 2 million dollars and a cold blooded killer. When I mean cold blooded I mean this guy has no feelings whats so ever. He is like an unmasked micheal myers that talks.

While out hunting Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) Happens across a busted drug deal. Bullet sprayed trucks and dead bodies make up the scene. As he makes his way out he finds the 2 million dollars. His costly mistake is being greedy and walks away with the money. From this point on he knows he has made a mistake that will be costly.

He is being tracked by Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem). Chigurh is cold and methodical in his killing and has no porblem with who he kills. He has his sights set on the 2 million dollars and lays waste to anyone that even steps in his way.

Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones) is the local sheriff. He is about to retire and is the anchor of the story sitting on the sidelines he allows the viewer to see how sensless the carnage and greed really are.

This is a movie you will want to watch a second time to fully understand what has happened. I made the mistake of watching this movie and doing things on my comupter. I know now that I need to watch again and give 100% of my attention to this film. The movie is paced well with high tension scenes of murder and gun fights and deeper moments where the characters are well built.

The acting is first rate and the character development is well done. I give this a 4.5 stars out of 5.

NCFOM was an awesome movie! Great acting, fantastic dialogue, top notch pretty much all the way. I only had a couple of small things I would have liked to have seen done differently.

Obviously, you want to see the protagonist (Llewelyn) succeed and live happily ever after, which doesn't happen. I'm actually cool with that, but I would have much rather seen him meet his end from Anton instead of the Mexicans. And, unless I missed something, you don't know if Anton actually killed Llewelyn's wife or not. Someone else told me that Anton wiped his boots after leaving her house, and that was the sign that he did indeed off her. Like I said, I may have missed that, but if should have been made more clear.

Aside from that, everything else in this movie rocked.

I might have to check out this author Cormac when I have some reading time available. The author must be slightly off or thinks outside the box. Pretty original character.
