Synopsis: "As if ripped from the headlines, the world watches as a comet looms over the earth for days. The masses are told, 'There is nothing to worry about.' It's a lie... ¶ An eclectic group of survivors huddle together and battle for their only chance to survive against the uprising of the undead, and to save mankind."

This looks familiar. Like under a different name or something because I've seen that tower before on a crappy website that didn't do anything for a zombie movie about people holding up in a tower and something about getting them getting impregnated... somehow by zombie aliens or whatever. Could be wrong, that was a couple years ago. Anyway, seems interesting.

Who is Jake Kennedy?
...you're joking, right? I thought it was fairly obvious he's the director.

Who is Jake Kennedy?
Yeah, why is his name part of the title as if we should have heard of him?

Many people list films with the director's name first. Scroll through the Horror Cinema section. You'll come across quite a few. Here's some examples...

The Directors' Guild used to have a ruling on this, in that you had to have a certain standing within the industry before you could put your name before the title.
Stanley Kubrick, for example, was not allowed to describe '2001: A Space Odyssey' as a Stanley Kubrick film in the US, and it wasn't until three years later that he could release 'Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange'.

So, this is how everybody has decided to start picking apart the film? Typically it begins with people crying about the zombie makeup or deviation from Romero's zombie mythology. People have resorted to jumping on how a forum member titles a film thread?

Well, it is kind of silly looking...it's not like were talking John Carpenter or George Romero here. My first reaction was exactly the same...who the hell is Jake Kennedy?...

I actually saw this the other night. It was pretty good considering I wasn;t expecting too much. Plot synopsis was somewhat buyable but there were some holes left that weren't answered. But for a B movie it was alright.

I'll give the DVD a shot when it's released.

Looks like they had a decent location to film it. The zombies don't look bad. The plot doesn't sound bad. I'll give it a shot when it's available.
